Taggie!

20/02/06:
Xuan Long forever!
Other than tons of new friendships forged, a bag full of new
knowledge and a whole lot of fun and laughter, I brought back this photo with
me together with all my memories in the 2006 SPH School Student Sports Correspondent
Camp:
----
Yeah, Ronald Susilo can? Lol... Number one player in Singapore... Hahaha...
Managed to interview him, very shy guy... like when I asked about Li Jia Wei,
he blushed. LOL!
Anyways, I got to study now...
Will do a mega post on the camp when I find time.
Mug mug!
PS: I got my copy of "Yin Yue Ri Ji 3" le... Hahaha... Thanks ya
Arthur! ;)

17/02/06: I cried.
Torino 2006.
Zhang Dan, Zhang Hao.
-----
Figure skating, pairs finals.
They, were 2 excellent Chinese skaters.
Now, they are the heros of thousands of people.
She fell, after 38 seconds of their routine.
Ligament strain, and she was in agony.
Tears, pain, fear.
Her partner helped her up, and she couldn't even walk.
Everyone, was astonished.
She teared.
The opportunity comes once in 4 years.
They lost yet.
Just as everyone thought that they were about to give up, she came back.
She remembered her routine. She landed on the same injured leg. She danced,
with so much of grace.
They finished it beautifully. She cried, and they smiled.
Silver.
They never deserved it more than anyone else.
Zhang Dan, Zhang Hao.
Heros.

16/02/06: Another day.
Felt like I didn't blog for a long, long time.
To keep you updated, let's see what is coming up for me:
E Maths test tomorrow.
SPH Ti Yu Tong Xun Yuan Camp on the weekends.
TA1 for the entire next week.
And guess what, I have not studied.
*Claps vigorously*
Not that I don't take things seriously, but I don't think I will do well for
TA1, unless I am so lucky that either I strike 4D or get strike by lightning.
I won't want to study during my camp, I must have fun... =P
Just in case you didn't know, I am now a member of SPH. Writing for Zaobao
on school sports. We have this training camp hosted in Paris Ris this weekend.
I think my group the people all chao fun lah, looking forward to the camp.
=)
Anyways we went the Shatec today for our western dining course.
It was like freaking retarded, basically we laughed throughout the thing.
Classical:
Instructor: "What do you do if Lee Kuan Yew joins your table for dinner
in a restaurant?"
...
..
.
Someone: "Stand up and say the pledge."
L-O-L.
SO BIAN TAI! Lol...
During the practical (which is actual eating, of course), we were like faking
this British accents and talking shyt. It's not even actual western dining,
Gab and I laughed like nobody's business. Lol...
Oh the food is average, by the way.
(I should be uploading pictures, but I really have no time, so please forgive
me for my sins. Bhx.)
Took a train home with some friends and went to Sembawang in J8 to look for
"93.3 Yin Yue Ri Ji 3 CD". Sold out. Got on a bus and guess what,
I met Arthur. Hahaha, chao coincidental. We went Thomson Plaza together to
see whether their Sembawang got Yin Yue Ri Ji 3 (lol YY's diary... BHX)...
Sold out again. Now I have a conclusion: Sembawang CD shop sucks. Amen.
Okay, actually all those are irrelevant, what I wanna blog about is the act
of kindness performed by Arthur and I today. Lol... As we were walking on
the over-head bridge, we saw a luggage left unattended. Instantly I said "BOMB!"...
lol... Arthur thought about the same thing... So we hurried down. Then we
saw this old lady who went up to take the luggage and tried to struggle down
the steps. I hinted to Arthur that we should help her out, so I took the luggage
for her and Arthur got all her shopping bags. The luggage, was not light at
all. It's like heavier than 20 pounds. I can't imagine how she managed to
carry it all the way up the over-head bridge. Chao wonderwoman. BHX.
We
helped her all the way to the bus-stop. She thanked us and took a sit down.
End of story. Please, it's not an extract from some lame primary school model
essay book or whatsoever. It really did happen. Ya lah, so "cliche",
but ask yourself honestly, when is the last time you did something like that?
Suo wei "Zhu Ren Wei Kuai Le Zhi Ben"...
Lending a helping hand doesn't costs you anything. In return, you get smiles,
gratitudes and showers of bliss. What else, other than killing the ones you
hate, can give you so much of joy and happiness? =P
Go figure!

14/02/06: New MSN 8.0!
Reached home and received an invitation for Messenger Beta...
Proud to be a beta user. =P
Downloaded it, and I am trying it on...
The new version of MSN messenger is very "flashy"... Flashy as in
FLASH, macromedia FLASH. The MSN logo is now in GREEN, no more blue. And advertisement
space gets bigger and bigger... Lol... It is a little bit laggy, I don't know
why... and there is a number of new functions which I am still trying on.
Let's hope it is indeed "improved". =)
By the way, you can try to look for the setup for this new messenger, but
I don't think you can sign in to it. Read some news on MSN and it says that
you can only login if you are invited, if not you will get an error message
if you try to run it without being a registered beta user. I guess you will
have to wait for a few weeks more...
Some basic new features:
Offline messenging
Better contact options
Free virus scan for messenger
The interface, of course
I know that pure texts won't satisfy your hunger... Here are 2 screenshots
that I took:

Can't wait for MSN plus for Messenger 8.0...
Back to work, see ya!

13/02/06: Happy Valentines! =)
Let's see...
---
Love is in the air! =)
--------------------
12/02/06: L-O-L.
Before I go for my SPH meeting, let me share something hilarious
with you (more on Ouxiang's blog)...
Background knowlege: This is a Mad TV Parody of Diane sawyer's interview with
Whitney Houston. Previously, if you followed the news, the press reported
that Houston was taking drugs together with his husband or something? Lol...
What to find out more? Let's take a look at this retardedly retarded video:
-----
LOL!
Have a nice day! =)
--------------------
11/02/06: A1. =)
Hi, yes, I got an A1.
Hip hip, HOORAY! =)
3 years of Chinese gave me this. I worked for it, and I got it.
Thanks to all those who have taught Chinese to me before, that includes: Huang
laoshi, Wang laoshi, Zhang laoshi (that teacher whom I say sell ban mian one),
Zheng laoshi and of course, Xu laoshi.
Thanks to these people, I felt this like yesterday:
----
=) ARIGATO GOZAIMASU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I want an A1 for my Higher Chinese as well. ^^ Hahaha...
Anyways, results came late yesterday. Xu laoshi said we would get it by noon,
but the announcement came only at 12:30. I was like super nervous when we
queued up for the results. Mr. Heng was reading names and seeing many get
their A1s, I got even more nervous... Hahaha... When I got mine, I smiled.
Coming to me was Lucas and Feng Kai... They jumped for me... Hahaha... We
knew we did it.
Went to 332 to thank Xu laoshi... She never smiled so brightly... hahaha...
confirm chao touched... =) Going back to class was crazy... Lol... It was
Ms. Lau's lesson, basically 435 weren't doing anything with her also, so they
cheered. Non-stop. Lol... Everytime someone coming in we cheer. They even
did all the school cheers, lol, freaking hilarious... Thanks ya 435, you guys
rock!
It's just nice to share your joy with your friends, isn't it?
Congratulations to all others who got their A1s. Especially those in Xu laoshi's
class, we have been together for a year liao, let's make the best out of 2006
and get A1s for our HCL as well. =)
After school dismissal, I went to the hall to "keipo"... It's really
rare to see SJI boys praying so seriously for once. Everyone closed their
eyes and the hall was silent. People were nervous, and everyone was tensed.
You could just feel it. 1 year later, I will be in their position. Oh well...
Congrats to those who got their 9A1s, and those who are satisfied by their
performance.
Like Binni and Darrick, I think they got what they wanted. Congrats ya! =)
During the course of the releasing of results, many cried, many smiled and
many left emotionless. I don't know why but I felt how many of them felt.
It's really amazing to see how many teared upon receiving their results, it's
like years of hardwork comes to an end, and a new beginning is waiting for
you ahead. A door has opened for them.
To everyone who received their results, congratulations, no matter how you
did. =)
And to all who has helped me in a way or another, thank you.
Of course, those who felt the joy with me yesterday, thanks to you too. =)
--------------------
09/02/06: O'levels results... >.<
My 1st major result slip will be given to me tomorrow.
O'levels express Chinese paper.
I, am scared. Really.
And you will see me tomorrow with either of the 2 feelings below:
----
or...
----
Pray for me. I don't want to be Ruhua.
--------------------
08/02/06: Inspired.
UPDATE:
I was Wayne's blog. Then I clicked on "Zachary" from his link. I
saw a "moved" page. Very impressed by the photoshop, and then I
moved on to his "current" blog, which was also "moved".
He is very good at changing blog address. But that's besides the point. Then
I finally found the REAL one here.
Still, very impressed by the photoshopping of layout and I assume he did it
himself... Then as I was reading, i scrolled down. And I saw something which
shocked me:
---------------
Yeah. It's quite an amazing thing. I don't know Zachary, and I don't remember
seeing him in school before. And that's why it's really quite an amazing thing
to find someone whom you don't know who reads your blog on a regular basis.
Zach has probably walked passed me many, many times in school, but I didn't
know it's him.
Anyways, learnt about Zach from Ouxiang and Wayne... Hey dude, thanks for
your "admiration" ya! Hahaha... Next time you see me in school,
say "Hi!" okay? Let me know who is the secret guy who has been reading
my blog... =P Feel free to tag as well. ;) See ya around! =)
_______________________________________________________________________________
Went to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital for community service yesterday.
It was my first time in 16 years.
Got there with Chinese Language Society together with our drums. We were performing
for the elderlies as a form of entertainment and at the same time, as a way
to celebrate Chinese New Year with them.
Most of the patients there are above 60, and majority of them have to travel
around in wheelchairs... The luckier ones can walk with the help of some volunteers.
Seeing them eat as they watch our boys perform, I felt so warm suddenly.
Kwong Wai Shiu is not government aided. The entire hospital is supported by
people like you and me, people who donates money to the hospital to make it
survive. That's why volunteers are crucial to them, and I was like so inspired
when Roth told me that he actually goes down every week to help with the sick
elderlies. Chao touching.
We could go to them elderlies before we leave and talk to them. Most of them
are too weak to sit up, and many couldn't even talk or listen properly. I
played chess with one of the patients and he didn't quite know the rules and
moved the pieces as he wished. Instead of correcting his mistakes, I kept
quiet and just played on...
As long as he is happy, I am satisfied.
Making elderlies happy is so simple, that's why I say you can't imagine how
blissful it would be if you have an elderly person at home.
Maybe when you grow older, life would eventually turn simplier and simplier...
Till there's one day, you have nothing to worry about...

Okay... that's done. =)
Anyways, watched "Fearless" with Gab that day... Now I will do review
on it.
---
Now I understand why this is the 1st "he sui pian" (new year film)
to be rated as NC-16.
People were arguing over what rating this film should be, and many said that
making it NC-16 is too harsh as it would result in a major loss in box office
results... However there are also people who said that the film is too violent
and many scenes are unsuitable for kids.
I watched it, and I think it SHOULD be NC-16. And it's a GOOD NC-16 film.
=)
Jet Li plays Huo Yuan Jia (1868-1910), a true hero in China... As you can
see he only lived for 42 years... Basically he spent his entire life fighting,
from young to old, and eventually died in a fighting arena... He was a legendary
character in China's martial arts history.
The film is all about his life, his character and all that he has went through
as a kung-fu master. Very exciting film, great fighting scenes and some aspects
were very well brought out by director Ronny Yu. It's a great show to watch
with your friends, the fighting scenes can leave you speechless.
I enjoyed the show with Gab, but I was like so pissed by the other people
in the cinema... We catched this film in Toa Payoh Entertainment Centre, and
the total number of people in the cinema was like 10? And how SUAY can we
get, we get the sit behind two retardedly retarded retards.
They basically paid $9.50 to TALK and CHIT-CHAT in the theater. S-I-C-K.
"YOU GOT OFF YOUR PHONE OR NOT? IF YOU DON'T OFF RIGHT, YOU WILL DISTURB
OTHER PEOPLE YOU KNOW?!"
"WAH, YOU SEE HUO YUANJIA DON'T WANT TO STUDY, LET HIS FRIEND WRITE FOR
HIM!"
"YOU SEE THAT GIRL CANNOT SEE, SHE IS BLIND... YOU KNOW OR NOT?"
Every 5 minutes, I hear that kind of crap. The entire cinema can hear them,
can you imagine how loud is that?
We were like so pissed and we went "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" like 6
or 7 times, but they were deaf. I think it's the 1st time they go into the
cinema, that's why they know no shit about cinema etiquettes.
Eventually we just changed seats. *Claps*
Okay, back to the movie... As I have said, there is a reason for why it has
been rated as an NC-16 movie. This film has many scenes which contains alot
of GORE. Bones flying out, ribcages broken and ALOT of blood, blood and blood.
Blood is red, sooo Chinese New Year.
BHX!
Okay, do watch it though, great movie. =)
Overall rating for "Fearless": 8.5/10
PS: Jay Zhou sang the song "Huo Yuan Jia" for this film. You can
find this song in his latest EP release. Ask me for it in MSN if you want
the file. =) Oh and by the way, "Fearless" is ranked 1st in Singapore
this week.
-------
Like the background music?
Ouxiang introduced it to me. It's called "Ugly" by Sugarbabes.
Very meaningful song, below are the lyrics:
When I was 7
They said I was strange
I noticed that my eyes and hair weren't the same
I asked my parents if I was OK
They said you're more beautiful
And that's the way they show they wish
They had your smile
So my confidence was up for a while
I got real comfortable with my own style
I knew that they were only jealous cos
People are all
the same
And we only get judged by what we do
My personality reflects me
And if I'm ugly then
So are you
So are you
There was
a time when I felt like I cared
That I was shorter than everyone there
People made me feel like life was unfair
And I did things that made me ashamed
Cos I didn't know my body would change
I grew taller than them in more ways
But there will always be the one who will say
Something bad to make them feel great
Everybody
talks bad about somebody
And never realises how it affects somebody
And you bet it won't be forgotten
Envy is the only thing it could be
Cos people
are all the same
(The same, the same)
And we only get judged by what we do
(What we do, yeah, yeah)
My personality reflects me
And if I'm ugly then
(Yeah, you)
So are you
So are you
Now that ends my ultra-long post today.
Have a good day! =)

02/02/06: I not stupid too...
Seems like I am having a bandwidth explosion...
Like suddenly so many people visit or something, these few days my counter
jumps faster than before... And as I was checking my website stats, I realised
that I have readers from America... Don't know why lah, but if you guys are
reading this now, do tag to let me know who you people are ya! =)
Anyways I watched "I not stupid too" with Lucas and Wayne @ Balestier
on Wednesday... Wanted to watch "Fearless" but we were afraid Wayne
looks too short to be 16. WAHAHAHAHAHA! Go and tag watever you want Wayne,
I will delete it anyway... *evil laughter*... Muahahaha... bhx...
Okay we saw Mr. Aaron Goh down there with his students, probably watching
the same film... Went in late, because I was buying stuff in McDonalds, hence
I think we missed the first few minutes of the film... But anyways, we sat
ourselves in and the show begins...
---
Okay, I was impressed. Very, very impressed.
It's not like some other Jack Neo film which either talks about problems in
our society (San Ge Hao Ren) or purely touches you (Home Run)... "I not
stupid too" is a production which is different. It is something closer
to our hearts, something which may possibly happen to the people around us,
or maybe even to ourselves.
I've watched all of Jack Neo's films, starting from the "Liang Po Po"
times... I didn't quite like Jack Neo's shows previously, as I thought they
lack something which would bring his films into an universal standard. Everything
is too... rough, and too local.
But this time, I have a different view on this. Yes, "I not stupid too"
is still very local, still very "crude" and still very rough, but
it has this element which you can't find in any other films. Jack Neo did
a legendary job in this movie, which is to play with your emotions.
In this close to 2 hours film, I cried many times. But strangely, I could
actually laugh and cry at the same time during certain scenes. Very rare,
you can say it's "KU XIAO BU DE", but I say it's the most difficult
thing to do for many directors. Tell you what, Golden Globe "Best Picture"
award winner "Brokeback Mountain" failed to have this effect on
me, now you see how spectacular "I not stupid too" can get.
Anyways, realise I didn't talk much about the story, cause I don't wanna spoil
it for you. I want you to go watch it. It's something which you should never
miss... I actually saw many Malay and Indian friends watching this film, imagine
how great the impact is.
Once again, don't miss it. The acting is great as well, the kids did a great
job, Jack Neo and Xiang Yun did a great job, everyone acted very well.
And to Jack Neo, congratulations. You have released your best production so
far. All the best for Golden Horse~ ^^
Overall ratings for "I not stupid too": 10/10

31/01/06: What a day...
WE-SAW-TRANSEXUALS. O-M-G!
Lol. Okay, we went ice-skating today.
Me, Arthur, Harold and Zhao Dong.
-----
I suck at ice-skating, seriously. Hahaha... But actually for a beginner, falling
ONLY twice is really a miracle. Not to even mention that I fell the 1st time
because of that retarded TRANSVESTITE who scratched his private part. Okay
nevermind, I will tell you more in details later. =)
The place we went was some Fuji Skating arena in Jurong. I thought nobody
stays in Jurong, but I was totally wrong. There were like so many retards
in the shopping mall. 1st impression, Jurong people are weird. I don't know
why, just... weird.
We went up and was surprised to see SOOOOOOOOOO many people in that ultra
small skating ground. It's really people mountain people sea. According to
Arthur and Zhao Dong, that was nothing... They experienced times when they
could only WALK like Geishas on the ice. So anyways, we got our shoes changed
(took me 10 years to do so) and went on to ice.
It was fun! Hahaha... It's not really that difficult, once you get the trick,
you should be quite good at it. =P Okay... Then like after 20 minutes or so,
we spotted a weird group of people. A trio which looks like monsters.
Yes, they are the stars for today, our transvestite friends.
They-were-disgusting.
T1: Wore striped blue and white. Mini skirt. Fantastic hair, King Kong face.
T2: Wore red and mini skirt. Not bad looking, but hair is like some 60s WIG.
T3: Wore some "shoulder-showing" thing with tight-fitting pants.
Face is like a typical man you see in Singapore wearing a pair of slippers,
eating Chicken Rice. Hair is like some retarded mentally ill person who just
got a head transplant. 1 word: SICK.
The "pro" skaters, Arthur and Harold went wondering off by themselves,
leaving me and Zhao Dong alone... So we were like talking while skating round
like some noobies, and those people appeared. We SO wanted to find out whether
they are transexuals or not, so everytime we skate pass them, we would STARE
at them... HAHAHA, so foolish... We confirmed their sexuality when we secretly
got near to them and listened to their conversations. O-M-G.
They were speaking some thai-like language, with some Brother Michael voice.
S-U-P-E-R L-O-W. 100% man. That leaves us with no doubts, they were man. They
were once gay, and now they are straight. =)
So then we gossiped and continued with our skating... Till suddenly, a group
of people gathered around the trio... T2 was quarrelling with a 1.5m tall
girl, probably only primary 4 or 5. She said, "LIM PEI _@$*()@$@)#*!@_!+#$)!134=109=22"....
OMG lah. She/he/it said LIM PEI with that manly voice, freaking scary. Then
T3 was calling for gang, I think... well T1 is just standing there adding
fuel to fire. I really think those young girls who fought with the transverstites
are like super brave... They are so young, but they had to courage to stand
up for what is right. Courageous girls. If you girls are reading, you rock
as much as me man! BHX!
Hehehehe...
After attracting enough attention, the trio packed their stuff and went out
in rage (apparently they LOST the battle to people who are MUCH YOUNGER than
them). They told the young girls to go outside and wait for them, and wanted
a fight of course. Then, we went to find out the truth from the girls, and
they said 2 unknown boys actually threw ice at one of the transverstites,
which is T2 of course, she got pissed, turned around and scolded the girls,
who were innocent. Those culprits ran away like cowards.
Then there goes the "fight".
As I've said, the girls won at last. Transexual gang lost. =(
Damn retarded.
So what is the learning point?
1) Never think people smaller than you can be bullied easily.
2) NEVER, NEVER be a transverstite.
Okay, some pictures for you (taken by SEAN POH'S SISTER! LOL!):

Finally, I'm gonna write a review on "Brokeback Mountain".
This film has won so many awards, I don't think you can actually believe it.
Here
are my evidence.
-------------
Love, is a force of nature.
"Brokeback Mountain" is a gay film directed by Ang Lee. After "Crouching
Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and the disappointing "The Hulk", Ang
hasn't had anymore film productions, hence "Brokeback Mountain"
is like a new start for this 51 years old director.
Story talks about two young men--a ranch-hand and a rodeo cowboy who met each
other while finding jobs. Eventually, both were employed and their task was
to drive cattles on a mountain range. They set up camps everyday in different
places on Brokeback Mount. and spend their time together during meal times.
1 night, one of them got sick of having to travel so far just to have supper,
and decided that they should just stay together. That night... they had their
1st time together.
Then, they fell in love.
If you watch the movie, you will find it totally amazing by the fact that
2 straight guys can actually fall in love with each other under such ridiculous
circumstances.
I say the story is really very colourful. 2 hours and 14 minutes just to talk
about the life of 2 simple men is not short at all. You might find it boring,
you might find it cliche, but it's really very interesting to see how they
struggle their relationships between their family and their "secret date"...
Jake Gyllenhaal, Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway (you remember
her from "Princess Diaries") acted amazingly well. Their performances
were unforgettable. Truly amazing.
Talking about Ang Lee, I think he is a fantastic director. Each and every
frame in this movie was shot with style and every scene is purely artistic.
Very impressive.
Music wise, it's simple and yet not plain. Basically everything is guitared
(like what you are hearing now is actually a song from the soundtrack) and
a few other classics added into the movie really make the production not only
good for looks, but good for your listening pleasure as well.
Ultimately, I think "Brokeback Mountain" is a production so rare
that you must NOT miss. Catch it on DVD, it's R21 in Singapore.
Overall ratings for "Brokeback Mountain": 9/10

All the best to brokeback in the Oscars! =)

29/01/06: Happy Dog Year! =)
Yay it's a new year!
WG wishes you a prosperous and happy new year. I hope that everything goes
right in this new year and the happiness never leaves you!
Oh wow, I just called Mum, who is in China. It's amazing that we are thousands
of miles away from each other but we hear the same noises in the background.
Yes, we are all watching the Chinese New Year concert on CCTV-4.
Suddenly I miss home again. Hahaha...
Anyways, the time now is 00:41... I have received so many smses, too busy
to reply all... So if you are one of those who bothered to send me your greetings,
thanks alot... really, and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU! =)
Ok before I go, I would like to remind you that 2006 is the year of the dog.
So now, let us feel the dogness by looking at the photographs below:

I'm so sorry if Xena the Warrior Princess happens to be reading my blog. HAHA!
I've totally ruined your pictures by editing them like that. =(
But if you look at this from another perspective, Xena should thank me, cause
she has like no popularity now, hence by putting up her pictures on my very
fantastic blog, I am actually indirectly advertising for her. Cool right?
Heehee...
Maybe Xena will come back with a new movie next year... It will be called...
hmm... "Xena, the Warrior Incest!"
WOOHOO~!
PS: Please try not to widely distribute the above pictures. They are all professionally
photoshopped by me, so please don't sell them to websites like http://www.uglygirls.com
or spread them around the world wide web and claim that YOU did it. The pictures
are copyrighted. Thanks. =) But if you really want to share the joy, you are
the MOST welcome to attach them in a chain mail. XP

27/01/06: We pulled it through...
We ended off today's performance with a bright smile on our
faces.
We made history, and we couldn't believe we made it.
It started off with that 6 hours long discussion in Long John, then on to
the submission of script. Through this journey, we had disagreements, made
several errors and went through alot of hardship.
We changed the script uncountable times, we printed more than 15 copies of
the same thing. Everything was going round and round, and we tried our very
best to get everything perfectly done for the performance we presented to
you today.
We would be lying if Michael and I say that we don't care about how you feel
about our emcee-ing. But really, if you criticise, you should come and experience
what we went through.
But of course, we didn't disappoint SJI, we didn't disappoint Ms. Tay. We
pulled it through. After weeks of preparation and memorization of script,
we managed to bring out the best for you today.
We were glad, and it was such a relief after everything is over.
It was like as though a huge rock has just landed from my heart *retarded
expression*.
Michael told me that we will leave a strong impact on many people's hearts.
I'm not sure about that, but what I am sure of is that the "BU HAO XIAO"
thing has spreaded to the entire SJI. I have made history. Thank you. =)
Now I can't imagine going to school everyday hearing people say "BU HAO
XIAO" and "WE KEEP YOU INFECTED" everytime you walk by. Oh
well...
Coming to think about it, it is quite cool to influence the entire school
with something which you came up with. The "BU HAO XIAO" thing started
among a small group of people, the it went our to our Peer Support Board,
then to the secondary ones, and now, to the whole school. Cooool... =P
Now as to keep on passing on the passion, I hereby declare a new MSN abbreviation.
That is, "CBHX" which means "CHAO BU HAO XIAO" and "BHX",
which means "BU HAO XIAO", of course. Please feel free to use them
generously, and spread the joy of bu hao xiao-ing.

Cuuuuool, see how fast I infect people. ;)
Now this series of Chinese New Year events is finally over. I started off
with the big "Chun" backdrop, did the leaves at the side as well;
went on to the school decoration like doing all the staff room and administration
office crap; then carried on to the wrapping of oranges for the staff members
in the school; and lastly, the concert. Things weren't smooth, everytime things
go wrong and we have to plan and re-do some parts. But everything is a learning
experience and now, I am someone with more knowledge on all these kind of
major event preparation. Now that even the Chinese New Year concert is over,
I have basically nothing to worry about.
Life goes on, and time flies by.
Thanks to those who encouraged me along the way.
Thanks to those who contributed and made a change.
Thanks to all CLS members.
Thanks to the 3 great teachers: Zheng, Wen and Xu laoshi.
Thanks to all who helped along the way.
Thanks to all who make everything a sucess.
Thanks to all for everything.
-----
-----
After the concert, Mike, Jon, Lucas and I went to Far East for lunch. It was
super retarded... We took like half an hour just to decide on what to eat.
Hahaha, we had to play "scissors-paper-stone" to decide on what
to buy. Chao retarded... Hahaha... We ate at KFC, that lame Festive Meal crap...
Eat until can vomit... It was super fun, hahaha... Laugh until can die...
----------
-----
After that, we went to Wheelock place to get my iPod repaired. I was like
totally impressed by that mega wide screen iMac, it's like a dream for me.
But anyways, I got myself replaced with a new iPod for my spoilt one. Apple
has like fantastic service... seriously... Oh, by the way, I really wanna
thank Arthur for all the help on my iPod... Hahaha.. Thanks ya pal! =) Okay,
back to my story: then the 4 of us went walking around the service centre...
Lol, we played with this iMac with has a camera head on its monitor... We
took like super retarded pictures... Hahaha I laughed like I cried, seriously...
Here is one of the freaking retarded photograph we took with that retarded
computer:
-----
----------
-----
OMG it's too retarded just like yourself. Lol...
Met up with Gab and Binni after that, then I went to Zhao Loong's house for
a 206 gathering... Hahaha... They were watching "Memoirs of a Geisha",
but I watched it liao, so I kept spoiling it for them. CBHX... Played gunbound
(haha so long never play le) and tennis after that. It was damn fun lah...
Then we went to Orchard for dinner... We talked for the whole night about
the past and 206 was really so fun lah, miss them so badly... But anyways
I was PRANKED by the dumb dogness Javier Yeo Melayu and it's chao bian tai...
I got my revenge though... Heehee... =P
Okay anyways, I wanna wish everyone reading me now a very
Happy Chinese New Year!
And since this is the year of the dog, which is Javier's year, I shall give
him a very nice present. Here Javier, this is for you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! =)

ROFLMAO!

22/01/06: Seems life turns around...
Alot of things have been happening recently.
At 1 point of time, I almost couldn't take it.
But today, I blog as a different WG.
I've been thinking of things, I mean why do I have to be so depressed when
I have all my friends around me? You know everytime I'm in school or hanging
out, I have so much fun... What else can destroy the strong bonds that we
have forged? Why let depression take over you when you have so many better
things to worry about?
It's true. I've learnt to look on the brighter side of life.
If something hurts, don't think about it. What can you do to change it? If
it's nothing, then don't waste your time on it. Move on. Life is like that,
things are unpredictable, you meet people whom you don't like and many times
things go the way you don't want it to be.
Why worry when we can cast all sorrows and fears to God?
Really, there's nothing.
It's like tennis. You don't have to win every shot. But as long as you take
the match, you should be happy. Nobody ends a game with a perfect score, things
go wrong and you injure yourself down the road. But honestly, without all
these, you won't be you.
Embrace everything in your life.
My sky today, is clear blue.
=)
Hehe, sorry for making you feel low if you have been influenced by my previous
posts. Now everything's back to normal, I will blog like I've always did.
=)
Let's take a look at some photographs that I didn't manage to share with you
guys days ago.
-----
This was taken during the preparation for Chinese New Year concert. Really
wanna thank everyone who came to help, especially Binni, Darrick and Gabriel.
They are all not directly involved but they voluteered their service. Chao
good right? Hahaha... Thanks alot guys! Also, thanks to Gabriel for your affirmation.
=) And to Binni and Darrick, thanks for the "great" ideas you guys
have given to me and Ouxiang yesterday during the Long John session. Arigato
ya! =) You guys are great seniors!
-----
Yeah the few of us (Timothy isn't in the photo because we couldn't find a
kind-hearted soul to help us take, hence he was the photographer) in Yoshinoya
after Secondary One Orientation Camp II... It was chao funny... Hahaha...
It's like there was this special promotion going on, it's called the "Haru
Kaisen Bento Set". Remember I said I was learning Japanese, but honestly
speaking I have no idea what the shyt is that.
-----
Okay, you wouldn't go to Yoshinoya, embarrass yourself with lousy Japanese
and order that set which tasted like shyt. But if you want, let me tell you
how to order this set, cleverly.
1) Say hello first to show that you have manners.
2) You can tell him/her/it: "Can I have a Haru Kaisen Bento Set?"
But that shows how dumb you are, because you can do it in so many other ways.
3) Like for example, you can say: "Can I have *points at Ziyi Zhang*?"
But that's stupid, you are not mute.
4) Try: "Can I have a Geisha set?" Okay, that's fine.
5) Or you can just say: "Can I have a Ziyi Zhang set?"
6) Heck it, just tell the person: "One Ziyi Zhang please."
LOL!
And she will slap you and say "BU HAO XIAO!"
Please, only do that if the person taking your order is me.
BHX!
Hehehe, ok, I'm not planning to blog about the orientation camps as I have
not gotten all my pictures yet. So please have patience ya! =)
Met up with Mike yesterday to discuss about Chinese New Year stuff. Binni
and Darrick went as well to accompany us for the first 2 hours. We had so
much fun lah, hahaha... laugh until cry... Oh yah, there was this girl who
was being painted onto the wall at the place where we were sitting. OMG she
was hilarious. LOL... Everytime we said something lame I will do the lll sign
on ur face... Lol... Then when we couldn't think of ideas I would use a pen
to stab her ... ... OMG CHAO BIAN TAI! LOL... We didn't draw on her because
we are responsible Josephians. Thanks.
-----
-----
-----
-----
Yeah, we were retarded... Hahaha... We stayed in Cineleisure from 18:00 to
23:00 something... Wahaha... Chao scary... Before we went home, we took those
stupid photos with big big Ziyi Zhang... Lol... Chao bian tai...
Talking about Ziyi Zhang and "Memoirs of a Geisha", it's really
hot isn't it? Whole world is talking about it... Quite an amazing thing, especially
when we have a hollywood film with an all-Asian cast. By the way, I have watched
it. Let me write a review on it. *You miss my movie reviews, don't you?* =P
---
I watched it with too much of expectation.
Maybe it's because of all the commerical stuff that really crippled the movie.
And I totally agree with the fact that the more you know about Japan and movies,
the more you will dislike the movie.
The whole concept of speaking ENGLISH in a tradtional Japanese community is
wrong. The whole concept of getting Ziyi Zhang to act as Sayuri is wrong.
The whole concept of the movie is wrong.
1st of all, I must say that Suzuka Ohgo (the girl who acted the young Ziyi
Zhang) and Gong Li both did a fantastic job.
--------
----------
Gong Li was spectacular in the film. It wasn't an easy character to act as,
but she managed to do it very well. She mastered it every well, and between
that whore and the elegant lady, Gong Li was right in the middle. Her English
was good, and I felt very comfortable seeing her act. And just in case you
didn't realise, Suzuka Ohgo (the young Ziyi Zhang) looks alot like Gong Li...
That's why I thought Suzuka Ohgo would grow up to become Gong Li, but it happens
to be Ziyi Zhang. It's chao disappointing, cause Ziyi Zhang looked like sai
in the movie. Seriously, I was totally shocked, and just for your information,
Ziyi Zhang's role in the movie was 15 years old. =="lll Michelle Yeoh
is not really important so I'm not gonna talk about her.
Now let's move on to our "favourite", Zhang Ziyi or Ziyi Zhang or
whatever she wants.
She sucks.
Her acting sucks.
Her English sucks.
Her Japanese sucks.
Her dancing skills sucks.
She wasn't a Geisha. She was a DOUSHA(bao)...
Seeing her act was a pain, because I don't understand a crap she says and
I don't know whether I should cry or laugh whenever she do something. It's
plain horror. Seriously, if you are planning to watch the movie because of
Ziyi Zhang, I would rather you spent $9.50 going to Kbox. Lol...
Okay, fine, I shouldn't be so nasty. It's a huge production anyway.
Other things worth looking out for are the music which sounded soooo like
"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (this film won the Best Scores
in Golden Globe by the way) and the beautiful photoshopped sceneries in the
film. Totally awesome.
Ok that's all. =)
Overall ratings for "Memoirs of a Geisha": 6/10
Never fail very good liao can? Lol...

19/01/06: So I won't give up...
Everything that I wanna say is in the lyrics.
Hilary Duff - Someone's
Watching over Me
Found myself today
Oh I found myself and ran away
Something pulled me back
The voice of reason I forgot I had
All I know is you're not here to say
What you always used to say
But it's written in the sky tonight
So I won't give
up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even if it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
Someone's watching over me
Seen that ray
of light
And it's shining on my destiny
Shining all the time
And I wont be afraid
To follow everywhere it's taking me
All I know is yesterday is gone
And right now I belong
To this moment to my dreams
So I won't give
up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even if it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
Someone's watching over me
It doesn't matter
what people say
And it doesn't matter how long it takes
Believe in yourself and you'll find
And it only matters how true you are
Be true to yourself and follow your heart
So I won't give
up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even if it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
That I won't give up
No I won't break down
Sooner than it seems life turns around
And I will be strong
Even when it all goes wrong
When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
That someone's watching over
Someone's watching over
Someone's watching over me
Someone's watching
over me

17/01/06: It's just how you think.
Actually, everything on earth can be viewed in 2 different
perspectives.
Like for example, if I pour 500ml of water into a 1000ml bottle, I can either
say it is half-filled or half-empty.
In life, everything is like that.
If something bad happens, a depressed person would tell himself that everything
is over and get disappointed for his entire life.
However someone else can easily take it as a challenge, face it with a positive
attitude and then try to overcome it.
It is difficult for a person to stay optimistic all the time, but it's really
the way of how you think.
If you come across a problem you cannot solve, let it rest.
Meanwhile, let God decide everything for you.
And believe me, time heals all wound.
=)
Thanks to CLS for cheering me up, all these while.
And to all of my friends, thank you.
--------------------
16/01/06: Love is painful.
I have very mixed emotions.
For the first time in many years, I don't know whether I should blog about
certain things in my life or not.
There are many things I cannot control, but what I can do is to tell myself
that all the unpleasant events that has happened in my life are just tests
and obstacles along my way.
4 years more to fly.
Fly away from everything.
My sky today, is grey.
-----
--------------------
11/01/06: Exhausted, thrice.
I reached home at 20:30 today.
I really have no more energy to blog about anything interesting. A good song
is all I have for you for today, tommorrow and the day after tomorrow.
Just wanna thank Binni, Darrick and Gab for all the help today!
And all CLS members as well. =P
Without you guys, I could never have completed the whole project by myself.
OKAGEISAMADEI!
Rock on guys.
Sleep, and WG's off for Orientation Camp II.
=)
--------------------
10/01/06: Selamat Hari Raya!
It is totally not a holiday for me, I don't know if Javier
is celebrating his festival (LOL), but I have spent my entire day on work.
Lol my blog has became the place where I complain about life. Bian tainess...
I am so tired, the time is 23:06.
It's gonna be another retarded day tomorrow, I won't reach home any earlier
than 8. I really hope everything will work well tomorrow, if I happen to screw
up, I can just build a kitchen in SJI and kill myself with a knife.
I want Chinese New Year to pass quickly, so that my responsibilities can be
lighter.
Eh, weirdly, I'm actually looking forward to Orientation Camp II and that
is pushing me on. Hehe, jia you!
PS: I now hate rain. Especially when it rains for hours and hours during WEEKENDS
and HOLIDAYS and all your plans are spoilt. A simple tee takes three to four
days to dry, can you imagine that? What nonsense. NKF SUX!
Eh? BHX!
Lol... Siaoness.
--------------------
09/01/06: Exhausted, again.
I reached home at 20:00.
Haha... The maintainance had to chase us out. Bleah...
It was really intensive work given by CLS. I can't even breathe.
Thank God we finished the Notice Board by today, all I need to do is to add
some small designs next to the main stuff on Wednesday.
Unfinished stuff are backdrop for CNY concert and coming up with the script
for something. Another round of Orientation Camp is coming up, things are
coming up so quickly. Hahaha... Sleeping at 00:00+ everyday is now a habit.
Oh yah, I did this CHAO lame presentation in front of the Secondary 3s today.
I spoke to them about the Shanghai Trip. I dunno why they laugh at the parts
when it is not suppose to be funny, chao bu hao xiao can? Hahaha... They were
so cute... Lol...
Saw Ouxiang in school today, dunno how is he, hope he's okay... Take care
ya!
Then also must pray for Agung for something. ;)
Should be meeting Mr. Yap and my old friends tomorrow. Don't know whether
I can make it or not, I have like so many things to do.
I'm really sleepy now, so I shall end today's post with 2 pictures. One is
taken upon the completion of the new CLS Notice Board. Talking about this,
I wanna thank Roth, Lucas and Zhen Wei for helping out. Thanks guys!
The other is taken with Javier during the preparation for Orientation Camp.
I like this picture alot because it was taken by no one, I put my handphone
on timer and we ran to the board and we got amazing affects for that. Pro
right? =)

--------------------
08/01/06: Exhausted.
At last, my new layout. =)
It took me long enough to get this done.
It's a new and more WG layout.
Sorry for the delay.
I was far too busy to do anything.
Upon returning, I was flooded with tons of unfinished homework, loads of designing
jobs and the intensive preparation for Orientation Camp 2006.
2006 started off very busy.
It was good.
I didn't want my heart to be somewhere else.
Thank Lord for all these.
I have to focus on my studies and at the same time, prepare for Chinese New
Year celebration. My load will be "lighter" after January.
Meanwhile, it's school, school and school.
I didn't watch a movie for so long. Hahaha...
I miss the days when I don't have to worry about anything...
the days when I can do anything I want...
the days when responsibility is a adult thing...
the days when I can say anything I want...
the days when I don't have to hide my feelings...
the days when time was never a limiting factor for anything...
the days when happiness was right in front of you...
the days, when I know that I am loved.
