I
guess I need a new layout. I am getting the lag already. =]
I realise my bandwidth is reaching it's top. Close to explosion.
I wonder who is doing all the advertising for me... Haha... I get complete
strangers in school coming to me, telling me that he reads my blog.
Maybe it's good, maybe it's bad. I'm rather worried about my monthly bandwidth.
If it reaches 5GB even before the month ends, this blog will have to be closed
down till the next month. Let's pray that it would not happen, k? ^^
This morning, at about 04:00, when I was in my deep sleep, something scary
woke me up. Someone was shouting in the neighbourhoods, very loudly. Can you
believe it? I stay in the 9th floor but I can hear his screams so clearly.
For 45 minutes (starting from the time in which I woke up, maybe he shouted
for even longer), he has been scolding the same Hokkien vuglarities.
"AH SWEE, YOU CHAR BO KIA, CH** B**, N* B**, COME DOWN LAH!"
It was so damn loud. Filled with curiousity, I got up, put on my spectacles
and walked towards the window to see what was going on. I saw a man, wearing
a black T-shirt and a pair of white pants. He was wearing sunglasses (what
a retard, wear sunglasses at 4 AM in the morning) and was pointing everywhere.
Suddenly, he realised I was watching him (although it was dark, he could still
see me because I was wearing white).
"NEVER SEE AH LONG BEFORE ISSIT?! WATCH WAT WATCH?!"
Oh-my-goodness.
At that moment, I was really frightened. He actually pointed at me!
I started to wonder if he has weapons with him. A gun? A bomb? LOL! Okay okay
it may sound bian tai now, but when someone is extremely scared, wild ideas
will flood his mind. I began to worry for those who might be coming home at
that hour. What if the mad loanshark stab them with his knife since he has
went completely insane? OKAY NEVERMIND! Irrelevant. =)
I wanted to call the police, because I really could not sleep after that.
And he was getting louder and louder... Really very disturbing. But I hesitated.
What if he leaves before the police comes? What if the police think a 15-year-old
is lying? Well.. feeling completely hopeless, I put on my headphone and listened
to my MP3s.. About 20 minutes later, I realised I am actually falling asleep.
I hate loansharks.
PS: If you are in a desperate need for money, go to the bank. If they don't
wanna loan it to you, just go and jump off a building. NEVER go to loansharks.
It is as good as killing yourself.

Okay anyways, it has been a really busy week, so I didn't have the time to
blog. There's so much of work to be done and I was really tired. Yesterday
I went to Thomson Plaza to complete my bookmark and the filing of my English
file. Met up with xiao di for dinner and we studied together.

Oh gosh I spent the entire day finishing up my unfinished homework. I can't
believe I did all the things which I am suppose to do in the entire week in
1 day. When you believe, miracles DO happen. =) Quote from "My date with
Vampire 3": Don't hope, Believe.

When I die, I want this picture on my tombstone. =)
Choy! Find it very moody. Quite like it. ^^
Bought Twins' new album yesterday. It's their very 1st Mandrain album, so
I guess I should support them.
"Jian Xi Ai Shen".
-------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
Mmm... I must say: Good try.
From 2 Hong Kong girls who can't speak Chinese for nuts, this album is actually
quite well done. They improved their pronounciations tremendously, it's no
longer the "canto-chinese" style of singer. This time, they sing
like normal Chinese.
Well, I don't expect much from them in their 1st time. Out of the 10 songs,
5 songs are remix versions of their cantonese songs. Like one of my favourite,
"Xia Yi Zhan Tian Hou" has been remixed to become "Mo Si Ke
Mei You Yan Lei". When I first heard the song it sounded weird, but after
continous listening, yeah... another "K-ge".
Ultimately, if you are a die-hard Twins fan, you should get this C.D. I like
most of the songs. Their effort is commendable.

Wow
looks like I didn't blog for quite a long while. It has been a fun and tiring
week.
Let's 1st talk about what had happened 2 days ago. That is, the 16th.
I went out for a movie with PT, MF and Xiao Huang. Met up at Suntec to catching
"Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events". The pig was rather
late so we didn't have the time to sit down and have dinner, hence MF went
to buy Subway for us. 19:15, the movie begins...
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
Honestly speaking, I had pretty high expectations of this movie.
BUT, it turned out to be quite disappointing. Well, with 4 Academy nominations,
this movie is really not that wonderful.
This is the story of the Bauedelaires, three young orphans, Violet (Browning),
Klaus (Aiken) and Sunny, looking for a new home, who are taken in by a series
of odd relatives and other people, including Lemony Snicket (Jude Law), who
narrates the film, and starting with the cunning and dastardly Count Olaf
(Carrey), who hopes to snatch their inheritance from them. Violet is the oldest
of the Baudelaires at 14, and is their brave and fast-thinking leader. The
only boy is middle child Klaus, 12, who is intensely intelligent and obsessed
with words. The youngest is infant Sunny, who speaks in a language only her
siblings can understand, and she has a tendency to... bite.
So, it's a something Adventure + Comedy + Kids/Family type of movie. Xiao
Huang said this at the end of the show, "This movie has no genre".
Well of cause it does, but it's just that the genre is very weak. And this
story is really very simple. I kill you, I failed. I kill you, I failed. I
died. Very, very fairytale.
Empty plot leaves an empty impression in the viewers' hearts. I, did not enjoy
the show.
However somethings are commendable. The style, the colours and the pretty-okay
CG.
Other than that, I feel that Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and Jude Law were completely
wasted.
And lastly, I think Sunny is very cute. =)
Overall rating for "Lemony
Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events": 6/10

Okay and after the movie, we went to MF's office to burn wedding
photos for me. I need those for their wedding website. So me and Xiao Huang,
for the 1st time in our lives, entered the MOST SECURED place in IDA. Any
others may not have a chance to do so in their entire life. Haha..
Let's see a picture we took in this super secured office.

Okay now for what had happened yesterday.
Early in the morning there was a cultural camp organised by CLS. It was pretty
fun and I laughed throughout the whole day! It was pretty fun and the teacher
laughs like a witch. =="ll
Okay anyways at 16:30, the camp ended and I went to Cathay with Xiao Huang
and Cang Hai. Being very very indecisive, I didn't know what to eat. So i
suggested buffet. Japanese buffet.
A meal costed about $60+. It's pretty good, we had 2.5 hours of time limit
and we had a good time! Haha... We were naughtily teasing the shopkeeper,
her name was Choo Ying, and we called her Zhu Ying (a famous H.K. actress).
And we asked her things like "Hows Stephen Chow? Give us discount leh,
you so chio" and blah blah.. HAHA!
Okay nevermind. We had fun, we ate alot and it was a good meal. I love the
ice-cream! =)

Time
was 19:40 when we walked up to K-box. We were all BLOATED and felt abit uncomfortable,
but we had a whole lot of energy to sing! Hahaha! The lady told us that our
she would give us the room till 01:00. Which is like @@"ll... We left
the place at 22:30+, so there's no need to let us have the room for so long.
The room was ULTRA small. Couldn't take pictures cause it was too dark I guess.
A room for 3 is like a toilet cubicle. =="ll But it was quite cosy, and
although it was small, it was not crampy. So it's pretty fine. We had some
drinks and snacks and sang like retards. LOL! Cang Hai was like screaming
and shouting like a mad cow. Haha..
It was a mesmerizing experience. I had so much of fun and laughter. Thanks
alot to my 2 dearest friends. =)
The End.

Hahaha
I just spent another day watching VCDs! I realise I can't control myself when
I watch drama serial volume by volume. It is SCARY, I just can't stop. Haha!!
I can watch a 30 episode thing in 2 days, without sleeping. LOL! Yeah it's
true. Did that for "Meteor Garden" and "Qiang Wei Zhi Lian".
But normally if there's school the next day it would not be possible, so basically
I can only accomplish that during school holidays, like now. =)
Okay I wanna review about Penny Dai's new album: "Ai Feng Le".
-------------------------
--------------------------
I love the new style. Leaves on the front and back. =)
Style is one thing. Music wise... it's still great, just like before.
Penny has never failed to upset her fans. Although she does not have alot
of popularity in Singapore, she is very famous in Taiwan and Malaysia. Album
sales have been great in these 2 regions, whereas her Singaporean fans are
probably not doing good enough. As a fan of her myself, I support her by BUYING
every album.
She produces quality music. She writes her own songs and sings them with her
own band. She molds a piece of plain clay into a masterpiece. She, is a powerful
singer + composer + producer. A rare all-rounder. This is an album which I
truly recommend. Love "You Le Yuan", "Ai Feng Le" and
"Amen".
Overall rating for Penny Dai's "Ai Feng Le": 8/10
Okay I'm pretty tired now after all the T.V.. I shall end today's post with
a super artistic picture. Well of course the one in the photograph is not
me, but since it's so artistically done, I shall share it with you. ^^

Mode: Totally relaxed.
Haha! I spent the entire day in front of the television. Watched 5 out of
the 12 discs of "My date with a Vampire 3", which is also known
as "Wo He Jiang Shi You Ge Yue Hui 3".
If you are the type who DO watch Hong Kong dramas, you would have known the
presence of this show and the previous 2 series to it. The 1st "My date
with a Vampire" was released in 1999, if I remembered correctly. Watched
it on channel 8, and fell in love with Ma Xiaoling. Eversince then I have
been using "Ma Xiaoling" as my nick in mIRC. LOL!.. However I didn't
watch the 2nd installment, but I guess I didn't miss much. The 3rd addition
was released last year in December and I was pretty surprised when I saw it
in a entertainment news website. In my mind I always had the impression that
this show would stop at one. To my horror, the 3rd one had same casts as the
1st one. This caught my attention completely. Memories of the show flashed
in my mind.
-------------------
---------------------
That is Ma Xiaoling. She, is heavenly beautiful. Smart, classy,
humorous and quick-witted. She is an angel in the show. She actually rode
a motorcycle back to "Song Chao", which is A.D. 800. Haha! That
is when Yue Fei is fighting a war with some other warriors in China. CAN YOU
BELIEVE IT?! Hahahaha. She used a HANDPHONE in A.D. 800, and when she took
a picture of a lady in the show, the woman thought her soul is being captured
and started begging her to give her back her soul. This, is so ridiculous.
LOL!
However I feel that "My date with a Vampire 3" had TOO much of computer
graphics. And although most of them look quite real to me, it makes the show
look very "fake" at the end of the day. Okay, maybe I should not
talk so much about it yet, since I haven't watched all the 38 episodes yet.
=)
Bought Penny Dai's new album today. Gonna listen and will comment tomorrow.
Now i would like to do a CD review on the soundtrack of "The Phantom
of the Opera".
----------------------------------
---------------------------------
A soundtrack for a musical. It cannot allow itself to be bad.
Thus, it's good.
Real good.
15 tracks of both classicals and new songs. Worth collecting after seeing
the movie, because if you didn't, some of the songs in the O.S.T. may sound
really awful. ^^
I like "Think of Me", "Angel of Music", "Music of
the Night", "All I ask of You", "Masquerade", "Wishing
You Were Somehow Here Again" and "Learn to be Lonely". Lol,
that's basically half of the entire album. Listening to these songs made me
remember the scenes in "The Phantom of the Opera", and most of them
are still clear and beautiful in my mind. However I don't really know why
I felt quite emotional after listening to the whole O.S.T. Well, maybe you
should go buy this piece of CD and listen to it and you will know what I am
talking about.
Overall rating for "The Phantom of the Opera O.S.T." - 8.5/10
Okay that's all for today. Before I end, let's see a random piece of news
from my superest superstar, Miriam!
----------------
-----------------
The picture shows Miriam standing next to a A.I.D.S. patient with Daniel at
the right.
She, as my idol, is truly an idol.
She is not someone who only know how to sing and act. She is not someone who
just sits down there to collect $ from records company.
She, does something for the society with her popularity. She, is worth my
applaude.
*Clap clap*

A
beautiful day. A new beginning.
It's the official start to the one week holiday. A good week for relaxation
and revision.
But I'm not going to waste my day mugging (yet). Haha! Went to Vanez's house
and watched "The Phantom of the Opera." Yeah I know it's a pretty
old show, but I didn't catch it in the threaters. So for now, a movie review.
^^
----------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
Over the recent years there aren't many performing arts type of movies
being released. Only ones which I have watched are namely "Moulin Rouge",
"Chicago" and "Cats". Hence this musical movie is an new
addition to this rare genre. After the 2 hours and 23 minutes movie, I was
utterly impressed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and his music. He, is a genius.
I could still remember hearing the song "Memory" from his musical
"Cats". It is a international classic, even if you have not seen
the musical itself, u would have heard the song. Andrew Lloyd Webber gave
his entire life to musicals. He had many world know pieces, and "The
Phantom of the Opera" is one of them. A musical remade into a movie.
I must say, it is very very difficult.
This romantic musical epic is about a mysterious masked figure, Erik (Gerald
Butler), who roams the undergrounds of 19th century Paris, centering his activity
around (or under) the Opera Populaire, where he tutors a beautiful young soprano,
Christine (Emmy Rossum), who goes on to upstage the city's most famous opera
singer, Carlotta (Driver). The Phantom thinks he's found love, until Christine's
childhood boyfriend, Vicomte de Chagny (Wilson) shows up.
I don't exactly know why director Joel Schumacher picked Emmy Rossum as the
leading actress other than the fact that she has got a good face. From her
appearance in "The Day after Tommorrow", she is really not that
impressive. But, the director did not make a wrong choice. Emmy Rossum IS
a great actress.
99.99% of the movie is singing, dancing and romancing. Viewers who watched
the movie must know how to appreciate art, and the beauty of Andrew Lloyd
Webber's music. If not, it would just appear to be an ordinary piece of junk
production in Hollywood. Many critics could not do this, that's why they gave
this wonderful movie such a low rating. I enjoyed every second of the movie.
The music was memorable and simply amazing, and every frame in the movie is
beautiful. The directoring was neat and artistic. One word: P-e-r-f-e-c-t.
All these made up for the plain story. Honestly.
Feels like it has been long eversince I've watched a movie like this. It touches
you, it makes you FEEL, it impresses you.
I loved it.
Soundtrack has been borrowed from Vanez. =)
Overall rating of "The Phantom of the Opera": 9.5/10
-------------------------------

that Vanez and I went for lunch in Thomson Plaza... Got home after that and

Today, I realised that someone whom you really hate can actually be a very
good friend. It's just that.. you have not discovered his true self.
I was actually pretty shocked that I won the Academic prize for Higher Chinese.
I thought it was Ben or Yang Jun or Victor. Thus when I saw my name on the
list, I was like @@"ll
And guess what, Lucas Guo Zheng Xuan, was the 1st in Higher Chinese. Well,
totally expected. Haha.. So we grew PROUD in CLS yesterday and we started
spreading the news. We were so retarded. Haha!
-------------------
---------------------
It was really fun bitching and fooling around in school these few days. It
has been fun and I laughed alot with all my CLS friends. Yup, regretted that
I didn't join it in Secondary 1. Haix. Well, maybe I should treasure this
new commitment more. CLS rocks. =)

my blog is like a diary to me, I would like to write down 3 principals of

2) Don't do things without thinking.
3) There's a time for everything.

Sometimes,
crying is the best way to express your deepest grieve.
Sometimes, crying would make you feel better.
Sometimes, in the midst of crying... you grow up.
In our lives, there will be ups and downs. It's the same for everyone.
For those who didn't do so well, strive harder. For those who did well, keep
it up. I believe by the end of the day, what is important is the reflection
part. No point doing things without knowing why and how you managed to do
it. No point doing things without a goal and thought. No point doing things
which you feel is a waste of time. Hence reflecting is the key to improvement.
1) Physics - Tuition from Joshua during the March holidays. =)
2) A Maths - Practise practise and more practise.
3) E Maths - Revise the topics.
4) Biology - Read the textbook.
5) Chemistry - Read the textbook.
6) English - www.m-w.com
7) Higher Chinese - Read the newspaper.
8) Chinese - Revise the notes from Secondary 1 to 4 Express Chinese.
9) Social Studies - Leave it aside first.
10) Elective Geography - Read the textbook.
That's the plan or March holidays. Won't be able to really play THAT much,
because I had setted goals for myself. For term 2, tests and mini-examinations
must be taken very very very seriously and I must really put in more efforts
in my weaker subjects.
Training on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Life science on Monday and Wednesday
too. Chinese Language Society on Thursday. Movie on Wednesday night. AHHHHHH!
When, do I study..?

*Update*
I've just did some make-up for my desktop... Here it is:
--------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
Mmm... how's your day?
Mine has been good? Haha.. I spent the whole day chatting. Got pretty bored
just now and was browsing randomly. And guess what, I found something really
meaningful. Here it is:
How to Be Happy
Don't ever stop dreaming your dreams;
they're a very essential part of you.
Do
whatever you can to make them a
reality by the course you take,
the plans you make,
and all the things you do.
Don't
dwell on past mistakes; leave
yesterday behind you --- along with any
of its problems, worries, and doubts.
Do
realize you can't change the past,
but just ahead is the future --- and
you can do something about that.
Don't
try to accomplish everything at
once; life can be difficult enough ---
without adding frustration to the list.
Do
travel one step at a time, and reach
for one goal at a time. That's the way
to find out what real accomplishment is.
Don't
be afraid to do the impossible,
even if others don't think you'll succeed.
Do
remember that history is filled with
incredible accomplishments of those who
were foolish enough ..... to believe.
Don't
forget that there are so many
things that are wonderful, rare,
and unique about you.
And
do remember that if you can search
within and find a smile ..... that smile
will always be a reflection
of the way people feel ..... about YOU...
Mmm.. So true isn't it. "Realize you can't change the past, but just
ahead is the future --- and you can do something about that." No use
crying over spilt milk, what we should do is to look forward to the future.
To improve our lives and not to make the same mistakes over and over again.
Really, life is like this.
I've learned that I like my teacher because she cries when we sing "Silent
Night." Age 6

for your children, try to improve your marriage. Age 61
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. Age 62
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catchers mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back. Age 64
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, the needs of others, your work, meeting new people, and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you. Age 65
I've
learned that whenever I decide something with kindness,
I usually make the right decision. Age 66
I've learned that everyone can use a prayer. Age 72
I've learned that it pays to believe in miracles. And to tell the truth, I've seen several. Age 73
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. Age 82
I've
learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone.
People love that human touch-holding hands, a warm hug,
or just a friendly pat on the back. Age 85
I've
learned that I still have a lot to learn. Age 92
So, what have you learnt today?

Yoooooo
yoyoyooyooo.. new layout~!!! Hahaha.. yeah yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Vanez suggested, themed: Leaf.
Haha... yep. Obessed with Ye Zi. So isn't it great if I just make a theme
out of them? Haha... Greenish, natural and I really like it! =)
With this change of layout, I have also decided from now onwards, I will type

my english (haha yeah right), two is for my foreigner friends to have lesser
problems reading my posts. Lol...
Mmm today's post would be on the things which happened yesterday. Swimming

After the carnival, me, Jovett, Gabriel R and T, Shwan, Yanxun, Weishun, Yuhuai,
Yuhao, Cheok Mun and Auggie went for movie. "Hitch" A very lousy
movie, that sucks like shit solid waste.
Went in to the threater without much expectation, however it topped America's
box office last week, so I was thinking, "It shouldn't be THAT lousy,
right?" However, I was completely wrong. The genre is completely mixed
and confused, I think the director is lost.

Honestly speaking, I think Will Smith is a wasted piece of junk in this movie.
And the more he is going to act in this kind of stupid show, the stupider
he will get. And people will have a impression that he IS stupid. Look at
"I-robot", look at "Men In Black II", and look at "Sharks
Tale". What is he doing? I mean does he only know how to act in junk
movies? No wonder he's popularity is still quite low. In hollywood, he is
really not a very HUGE star as compared to people like Jude Law or Leonardo
DiCaprio.
Alex "Hitch" Hitchens (Will Smith) is a tactical adviser who specializes
in first impressions - he customizes and orchestrates a client's first three
dates - HITCH has been secretly responsible for hundreds of New York City
weddings. Sara (Eva Mendes), a gossip reporter for a daily tabloid who, after
a chance meeting with Hitch, finds her professional life and personal life
on a collision course. She makes Hitch re-evaluate his game and teaches him
that love is not a feeling, it's an action.
I would say the story is empty and meaninglessly stupid. There's no moral,
there's no connection, it's garbage. And actually it spoilt my mood after
that. Can you imagine watching a movie which has 99.99% of it's "funny"
parts all in the trailer? So it's like okay, 5, 4, 3, 2 ,1. Laugh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
=="llll WHAT IS THIS?!! A trailer is suppose to introduce people to your
new movie, not a way of showing everything that you've got in the movie so
that people can be cheated, thinking that your movie is oh-so-nice. And when
to walk into the threater to watch your stupid film, they find every scene
so predictable and lame.
Hence, this movie is really a failure. Low budget junk. Wait, I don't mean
all low budget movies are junk. Maybe take a look at "Before Sunset"
or "Closer"? Those are GREAT low budget movies, no computer effects,
no great scenaries, just life. At least I can tell myself, "I enjoyed
this movie" after 2 hours in the cinema. However "Hitch" is
a complete failure. Haix, disappointing. Maybe sitting in the 3rd row from
the front DID spoil my mood alittle, for this reason, I would add 2 points
to its rating. Oh by the way, this movie is not a "comedy" show.
It's romance and drama.
Overall rating for "Hitch": 6/10 *Passed! Woohoo!*

Has been listening to Leon Williams' music for the past 2 days. Fell in love
with his "And I love you so" (background music) and "I can't
smile without you" (music for previous blog).. Vanez bought the album
for me during v-day, didn't have much time to listen to it.. That's why I
was pretty surprised that I was actually refraining myself from such good
music for so many weeks. Hahaha.. But like I said, this album is all old songs.
Songs from the 60s to the 80s. You may not really like it, because they sound
REALLY "lao tu".. But it's quite worthy of your collection. However,
if you want to buy this album because of Leon Williams, please forget about
it. He didn't even sing a quarter of the songs in it, everything else is the
original rendition of each song. Well... It all depends on you. Buying it
for your parents as a present would be nice. ^^
