Okay haha, I had a great day today.
Submitted a skin in the afternoon. Do rate or favourite if you want. Hohoho... 9th skin liao. =P

I was supposed to meet Guo at Balestier around 15:40 for a bowling session before the movie, but he was dumb and "FORGOT" to bring the tickets. LOL so retarded can? So he had to go home to take them, and meanwhile waste 45 cents and tons of time.

Got to Cathay at 16:30 like that, and looked for Tania's hidden tickets to Red Rain's concert tomorrow. HAHA! THANKS ALOT HONEYDEW! =P

She hid the tickets behind those lame Hello Kitty machines, wahahaha, thank God nobody took them.

While waiting for Ben, Gab, Tim and Wayne, Guo and I went for some games in the arcade. When everyone have arrived, we went into the theater at around 18:10 and guess what, we weren't late this time and do you know HOW RARE it is for things like this to happen when you watch movies with people like Guo and When Teo? Lol...

Yep, you know what we watched.

I knew that this is gonna be much better than the "Da Vinci Code", and damn it, I was right.

But, let me criticize first. Lol.
1) I know that James Marsden (Cyclops) did not want to act as a X-men anymore, but that doesn't mean you get him killed at the start of the movie right? =="lll He merely appeared for 3 minutes? LOL.

2) Jean Grey became Jesus in the movie. She came back for no reason or watsoever. The connection is missing and her scenes were so... lame. Basically the Jean Grey in this installment serves the purpose as some retarded part-time model. She only had a few lines to say and throughout the ENTIRE movie, all she need to do was to act angry (but in the end she looked more like an Emily Rose then a pissed off thing).

If she gets nominated for "Best Female Lead" in the Oscars or something, I will commit suicide.

3) Mystique's gone. Professor Xavier is gone. My 2 favourite characters are just GONE like that. Totally dumb. And both of them only appeared for a few scenes before they get off the screen. Bad, bad, bad.

4) What is Angel's power? Lol, yes, to fly. Wait, you mean he only can fly? Yes, he can only fly. That-is-so-dumb. Hello, so many other mutants can fly (example: Storm), so I don't see what's so good about him. =="lll And Beast, till now I have no idea of what special abilities he has other than being blue so that he can scare people away.

5) The movie is TOOO short. 1 hour 43 minutes? Bleah...

Okay, now for the good things. =)
1) I loved everyone's looks. I think Halle Berry went for a makeover or something, HAHA... Her hair is damn nice lah...

2) Acting was great, nothing much to comment on.

3) Visual effects and computer graphics were close to perfection. Enjoyed every second of it.

4) Pretty interesting plot, created suspense for "X-men 4".

5) The cliche but needed happy-ending. =)

Seems like I criticized much more than I praised. LOL!
But since I gave "Da Vinci Code" 7, this one should be higher.

Overall rating for "X-men III": 8.5/10



Went for dinner at Fish and Co. after that.
Orchard was flooded with people tonight. Last day of school and it's weekends liao I guess.

Had dinner @ Ajisan, then headed off for the movie at 7+...
Lol these people were so STRESSED UP. They were worried about their entrance to the theater. Haha... Yes, all underage. =)

At 1st, I was like still thinking of things like: "Aiyah so many people, won't be strict lah"... Also, the tickets lady was an old hag, so we thought she wouldn't be smart enough to catch us.

I was totally wrong.
Despite of the FLOOD and LONG QUEUE, she insisted on checking our ICs. Great.

So now Javier took out Rod's ez-link, Eric used Arthur's and Anne used her sister's something card.

She checked through and... ...
let us in. LOL!

Obviously she didn't look at the faces. Great job there!

I waited for a year.
Yes, starting from when I KNEW that this movie is going to be filmed, I have been waiting.

Checked for updates, watched every trailer. You can say I am a hardcore fan.

Dan Brown is a great writer. I read all his books, and every book is a favourite. Da Vinci Code was the 1st book Dan Brown book which I've read, hence the plot was abit blurry to me when I watched the movie just now.

Honestly, I went in with ALOT of expectations. And these expectations brought everything down.

As promised, no spoilers for you.

1) Acting.
Tom Hanks played the lead role, as professor Robert Langdon. He wasn't acting, he was just... being Tom Hanks. -.-"lll I couldn't see much effort, really. And he didn't have the LOOKS to be Robert Langdon. Not at all.

Audrey Tautou played Sophie. She has this weird charm in her. But really, the ideal Sophie doesn't look anything like her.Her acting was stiff, and abit weak.

Paul Bettany played as Silas. I thought that he was the only one in the entire movie who performed up to expectations.

Ian McKellen played as the "Teacher". Not bad, I would say. Funny dialogues came from him.

Agent Bezu Fache was like totally unnecessary? Lol... I totally didn't feel the importance of his presence.

Hence, for acting, "The Da Vinci Code" has officially failed.

2) Plot.
Alot of things were left out.
Anagrams were left out, PHI was left out, plenty and plenty of details were left out.

Okay, fine, I read the book. But really, it's because of the fact that I read the book, I realised that the movie has alot of HOLES in it. If you hadn't read the book, you will LOVE this movie. But if you did, you will be utterly disappointed. Just like how I am feeling now.

3) Direction.
I quite liked some of Ron Howard's shooting style. There were varieties and some really great shots. Good job there.

4) Music.
Most of the time it's either soft or non-existence. Nothing much for me to say.

5) Overall.
If you haven't read the book, I suggest that you watch the movie and read it AFTER you have seen it.
For those who had read the book, don't watch the film with too much expectations. Take it as you are watching just watching a TV programme. That would take away some disappointment at the end.

So yes, that ends my SUPER long review on "The Da Vinci Code". Bleah...

As I was browsing through some blogs which had my blogskins as their templates, I was extremely pleased to see that most of them still kept the credits on and didn't freaking remove them.

However, there were cases where "Credit - li0nheart" was completely removed. Okay fine, I forgive those who know nuts about HTML and screwed the codes up. BUT, there are a number who merely deleted that away and make it look like as if the skin is completely THEIRS.

The worst case was that this girl actually credited SOMEONE else for my skin. It's like what the hell? You don't credit Britney Spears for drawing "Monalisa" right?

I don't give a flying damn about how you think about this movie. The fact is that I liked it. =)

Very exciting, not really very "Titanic", and it has its own style.

The movie talks about how this HUGE cruise sinks after this retarded wave hit the body of the ship.

This group of people, led by Josh Lucas, has to make their way out of the ship in order to survive. And there goes their adventure.

Sacrifises, love, blood and tears.

You can find everything in this movie.

More importantly, I would want to share with you my thoughts on the movie "Flight 93".

It's extremely difficult to find this film.
It is released this year, by FOX Television if I am not wrong.
85 minutes, everything on Flight 93.

I wanted to watch this movie out of pure curiousity.
"Did the things mentioned in Loose Change happen in Flight 93?" "Did the passengers and crew really talked that way?" "Did the plane crash and yet nothing was found?"

All of my questions were answered.

Yes, this is a great movie to prove to me that the conspiracy theory is true. FOX, great job on blowing more evidence to us.

1) Passenger Mark Bingham called his Mum on the cellphone from the plane and said this: "Hi Mum, this is Mark Bingham."

HELLO, when is the last time you call your MOTHER and tell her "Hi Mum, I am Nelson Tan Pang Sai?" It's so freaking stupid. And yes, this is EXACTLY how they filmed it in the movie.

Next, he continued and described his current situation, which is the fact that his plane has been hijacked. Then, instead of asking his mother to call the police or something, he said "Mum, do you believe me? You do, right?"

WHAT THE HELL.
Unless your mother is stupid or something, she wouldn't have thought that you are KIDDING when 2 damn planes have already crashed onto the World Trade Centre right?!! =="lll

2) Flight attendant Betty Ong's called was even "better."
She was so calm, like as if she was been SARCASTIC.
"Hi, we have people who are stabbed. Yes, this is so scary."

WOW. =="llllllllllll

Does Ms. Ong sound like a woman on a hijacked plane who just saw three people murdered?

And why are there no screamings or whatsoever? RETARDED!

3) People were constantly calling their families and home by using their CELLPHONES in the movie. Hello, it's impossible.

Flying at 32.000 feet above ground, the chance of getting a transition is 0.006%. Either the passengers were REALLY LUCKY that ALL OF THEM fell under that 0.006%, or all these were lies.

4) I was just thinking about this point just now: How the hell do 4 or 5 hijackers get into the plane with blades and explosives without getting caught? It's abit... unbelievable. Really, I mean were the scanners spoilt or something on that day? Hmmm...

5) When the plane was crashed, there were NO SIGNS OF ANY PARTS OF THE PLANE, all was left was a HUGE hole, like as if someone dug it last night and threw garbage into it. The plane was NON-EXISTENT. And I must say how dumb the movie was, the authorities came and they couldn't find the plane too, so they asked the firemen, "Where is the plane?"

"We don't know, we are trying to find it."

"Hello are you trying to kid with me, it's a BOEING 747! It's a BIG plane!"

... ... ...

Ain't you trying to contradict yourself US government? You said you find the plane, wow, where? Just a hole and we all know that you didn't find the plane. "VAPOURISED" is not a really good reason cause it's really DUMB. An aeroplane don't just VAPOURISE. Maybe your brains will.

6) This movie just confirms the conspiracy theories. =)

Totally. I don't know what to say now.

I just watched this documentary made by these three university students in the States. It's called "Loose Change"... An 80-minute long video on the truth behind 9-11.

I will give you the link to video later, as for now, hear what I have to say.

1) 9-11 is planned by the US government.
2) Osama was put to blame so that the US government could be clean from all these.
3) The US government planned this whole process for 1 thing: Wealth, wealth and wealth.
4) There are alot of hidden and cover-ups. But it has been revealed today.
5) Now, I really hate the US government.

A summary of the documentary:
>Videos of Osama were fake videos released by the US government. Osama is left-handed, however in a video flashed on CNN, Osama was writing with his RIGHT hand. PLUS, he was wearing a GOLD ring. But according to research, Osama's religion does not allow him to do so.

> Insurance for the World Trade Centre was bought SIX WEEKS before the incident and this SPECIFICALLY INCLUDED TERRORIST ATTACKS. Coincidence? Or what?

> Government workers were warned before-hand not to fly on September 11tth. Who told them this?

> Planes which were been claimed to have crashed onto the White House and Pentagon never existed. These were all lies. The damage was unbelievably small and both planes just VAPOURISED. No solid evidence of these planes existing at all.

Oh yes, another thing which I am glad about is that I watched "Mission Impossible III" today. Went to Lido after my Biology paper with Ben, Gab, Gerald, Guo, Tim, Trent and Zhao Dong to catch this film.

I loved it. =)

Watched the previous 2, but really, you can say that this is not as good, but I think the latest installment is still up to standards,

1st of all, before I comment on anything else, I must say that Maggie Q was amazing in the movie. I'm totally in love with her can? Lol. She rocks lah, this is probably her BEST movie so far, and all her previous slutty Hong Kong films can just go and die.

And I bet no other Asian actresses can handle the role as well as she did. Her english was great (ABC mah...), her elegance was there and her charm was irresistible. GREAT JOB MAGGIE! (Maggie mee.. =="lll)

Okay, the movie was amazing in many aspects. Well you expect the usual action-packed scenes, with all those BAMs and BOOMs. You can also see how the team works together as a team to complete their various missions. Very interesting to see how these agents do their things with their intelligent minds.

Acting was great, sound effects were excellent and visual impacts were very powerful. It is overall a fantastic movie.

Just 2 things which I didn't like about.
1) TOM CRUISE DIDN'T HAVE TO SPEAK CHINESE FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! It's so LAME!!!!! Can you imagine TOM CRUISE saying "让开" and "小心" when he is running for his life? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE DIRECTOR? LOL MADNESS!

2) Too many cars are blown off. I know MI3 is a blockbuster, so must be high-budget and blah blah blah... But Mr. Director, you don't have to BLOW UP about more than 10 cars just to prove to me that you made a GREAT movie? It's retarded.

Overall rating for "Mission Impossible III": 9.5/10
