Watched Harry Potter yesterday.
More than 40 people asked me on MSN how was it.
My reply was constant: "Okay lah, watch until very dizzy..."

Frankly speaking, I was quite disappointed.
But 1st I wanna warn you that what I am gonna say may change your views on
HP, and I didn't actually read any reviews on the movie or anything, so please
just read at your own risk. =)
Let's start with the good things: Everyone looked exceptionally great. Harry
and Ron had nice long hair and Hermione is like so freaking chio at the ball.
Cho Chang looks abit fat but still good enough for Harry Potter to like, and
of course the twins can very well go become models.
Besides the "beautified" cast, visual effects and computer graphics
were also fantastic. In fact I think the graphics were so good that you won't
find anything better from anywhere else.
That's all. =)
Seems like the negative things are easier to talk about, because they are
so plentiful. 1st, I have no idea why Hermione had to act like some pissed-off
thing and scream and shout throughout the entire movie. Why is she so pissed?
Lol... Really... Please tell me why. Next, I think everyone in this movie
has to be pissed in 1 way or another. Hermione is pissed, Ron is pissed by
Harry, Dumbledore is also pissed (he shouted at Harry by the way) and the
whole world is pissed. This is not a happy movie. It's sad. Even when the
ending is near, you still feel sad. That's why the movie ends of sadly for
me.
Also, I expected HP movies to be good enough for all public members. Meaning
you don't have to read the book to understand the movie. The 1st two movies
did a excellent job in this. But the latest installment to the HP series proves
to be a complete failure. Everything was left out. There are so many holes
in the movie, and you may just drop in one of them and you will be lost forever.
Important things are left out. And some lame kid-fun are dragged for too long.
2 and a half hours may not be enough for everything to happen, but you can
make it longer! HELLO DIRECTOR! Lord of the Rings - Return of the King is
like 3 and a half hours long? Why can't you extend yours? I would rather have
something long and complete then a lame attempt of a short and "sweet"
movie.
Okay nevermind, I shall not influence your choice through my opinions. Go
watch it with a open mind, don't expect too much, if not you may be disappointed.
For those who are hesitating and not a real die-hard-fan, I have an alternative
for you. Save your money for something else, and I say that something should
be "Exorcism of Emily Rose". Your $8 will be more worthy for a better
movie like that. =)
Overall rating of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire": 7/10

WG is currently learning Japanese. =)

Okay, Iet me blog about events which happened days ago... And gradually move
on to today. I will end with a review on "Exorcism of Emily Rose".

Let's start with the day where 5 PSFs are suppose to go to Victoria School
to give a small talk on Peer Support during their PSLTC. The thing started
on 16:30 that day, but me and Lard met up earlier to bowl~ Woohoo~ Hahaha...
I am like so pro? LOL! But Jianhao not bad also lah, although he lose to me
like 4, 5, 6 times... Wahahaha...

After like 6 games with Jianhao, Javier came over.
He sucks.
Lol... But he's bowling style is damn cool, however good looks always bring

there... Did a few games with the PSLs there and shared a little... It was

As for today, I went out for movie with Gab and Timothy... Went to watch "Exorcism
of Emily Rose"... It-is-a-fantastic-movie.

Thanks to this movie, I realised that not all exorcism films are trash.
The one I previously watch was really shit. It was called what ah? Lol...
So crappy until I cannot recall its name. But I remember blogging about it...
Hahaha... I gave it a negative score if I am not wrong.
Okay, normally, a TYPICAL movie on exorcism will start with lame and trashy
stories and then gradually go into digusting and bloody scenes followed by
the "manly voice from the posessed girl" and yay, we are finished.
This one, is totally different.
Based on a TRUE story, this story on demonic posession has truly opened up
my eyes. No lame "spells" in Constantine and stupid lame green ghosts
in those Hong Kong movies. This one, seems very real.
Movie talks about a girl called Emily, and she is posessed by demons.
Some believe she was just suffering from mental illness, but Father Moore
believes that she was posessed and needs to perform an exorcism on her to
release her from her pains. Story revolves against the truth about Emily's
reason for death and how God fought the battle with Satan.

Okay, now on birthday surprise... Lol... Okay I must talk abit on this, cause
I was really shocked by the whole thing. 1st of all Mr. Wong very smartly
called me + Zhiyang, and Shih Hoong + someone else to check on the classrooms
outside during our final debrief in the lecture threater. So I thought okay,
go lor... Then as I was walking around outside, Zhao Dong suddenly came to
me and put his arm across mine, and we walked like as if we are having a wedding
ceremony. =="lll I didn't suspect anything cause everything was so normally
siao. Okay then he dragged me to find Shih Hoong, and he even followed me
and Shih Hoong to the toilet. I was like @@"lll... BUT, I STILL didn't
suspect anything. Then Zhao Dong started to pull me and Shih Hoong to the
lecture threater, and I see people running back. I knew something is happening.
Then BOOM, we entered, and you can see the retarded expressions on me and
Shih Hoong's face. Lol... It was indeed a birthday surprise. =) Thanks guys!

Hahaha honestly speaking, Ah Gong (that's how I call him) needs to have the
"head" boy image all the time. Being the head prefect of SJI, it
is not easy. But what you see is nothing of arrogance, nothing of authoritativeness
and nothing of any nonsense you get from those lame leaders. Yeah, he is like
the best head prefect you can ever get. Wahaha... Kaikua'ana rocks under the
ruling of me and him. =P So you see, this great pal of mine has also changed
tremendously after the weeks of interaction, and he has changed so much! Hahaha...

Ahh we are each other's ouxiangs! Hahaha...
He's the 1st person whom I didn't want to attack in Gunbound when he's RIGHT
next to me simply because we promised each other not to. LOL!
I realise he is becoming more and more important in my life... Hahaha... We
can basically talk about anything under the sun, and we have very similar
taste in music and artistic stuff. We are artsy people okay? Hahaha... PSLTC
really bonded us together alot and we rock lah... I was like really chao impressed
when I see how efficient Ouxiang can get, seeing him type the "Spirits
Com" booklet, seeing him running up and down during the camp and seeing
him stay overnight to finish up his jobs. It's really *clap clap*... Haha...
Ouxiang is also one of the people I can turn to when I am feel down and lonely,
and he will always be there to give you his listening ears. =) Yeah, you just
feel that great when he's around. OUXIANG ROCKS!!! WE ROCK IN GUNBOUND ALSO!

This is the super nice ACSM. Hahaha... Really, Nigel is one of the best people
you ever meet in your life. He is very accepting and takes everything you
give him with a very stable and calm mind. You never see him flare up, you
never see him get worked up and you never see him get frustrated. His wife
will be the most fortunate woman in Singapore.

I NOT say? Lol... This fantastic classmate + friend has been walking with
me on the same path for 3 years already. And really, he is someone whom you
can really rely on. What really impresses me is the way he controls his mood.

Okay I wanna blog about "Flightplan" and "Sky High"...
=)
Let's start with the movie which I've watched like a few thousand years ago.

Eh it's really good.
I don't give a damn to what some lame critics say, things like "It's
SOOO Panic Room" or "Jodie Foster only knows how to act like a lunatic".
Whatever, she's better than you at least. =)
Flying at 40,000 feet in a cavernous, state-of-the-art E-474 aircraft, Kyle
Pratt (Jodie Foster) faces every mother's worst nightmare when her six-year-old
daughter Julia vanishes without a trace mid-flight from Berlin to New York.
Already emotionally devastated by the unexpected death of her husband, Kyle
desperately struggles to prove her sanity to the disbelieving flight crew
and passengers while facing the very real possibility that she may be losing
her mind. While neither the plane's Captain Rich (Sean Bean), nor Air Marshal
Gene Carson (Peter Sarsgaard) want to doubt the bereaved widow, all evidence
indicates that her daughter was never on board resulting in paranoia and doubt
among the passengers and crew of the plane. Finding herself desperately alone,
Kyle can only rely on her own wits to solve the mystery and save her daughter.
Some thinks that the story is awfully stupid. A mad woman running around a
plane like a retard, looking for a daughter whom "some" believe
she doesn't exist. But Jodie Foster knows that her daughter is with her, but
she don't know how come she has gone missing. So you see the entire movie
focuses on a mad woman and a series of mystery and other exciting elements.
Who cares if the story makes sense?
The point is that you enjoy it.
Overall rating for "Flightplan": 9/10

Okay next movie, "Sky High"...
This one is probably one of the bestest "childish" movie recently.

1st of all we didn't PLAN to watch this.
It was just like "Oh, this has a right timing, so let's do it"...
But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. =)
The movie is, I would say, hilarious.
I am impressed by how the director can play himself down by doing really LAME
things like those you see in the 60s movie. Flying heros punching down stupid
robots in the middle of the city. Yeah, it's that lame.
But some areas are truly commendable, like some scenes of desperation and
love.
You could see how each character struggled with their powers, love and choices.
It was not just like a "Hahahahahhahaha! Okay we are done" type
of movie, it has a deep moral. That leaves the viewer to ponder over what
the movie is really trying to say. Very sucessful movie.
Overall rating for "Sky High": 8.5/10

It has been a memorable experience.

Happy birthday to myself! I'm 355 days older!

Actually I was about to sleep, but then as I was reading blogs, I found something
which I wanna share with you. Extract from Binni's

03/11/2005 :: WG is thankful for everything.
Time now is 20:48.
Somehow I am blogging with a totally different feeling right now.
I had never experienced something so simple eversince the start of the year.
Now, I am just relaxed, worryless and problem-free.
Maybe's it's because of the new layout which motivated me alot, maybe it's
because my exam period is finally over, or maybe it's simply because of the
great friends around me.
Hmmm, I had a great meal with Mum and Dad in the afternoon... Ate seafood,
and we chatted and spent the entire afternoon outside. It wasn't a grand celebration
or whatsoever, but I liked it. I mean that's all I want every year, a simple
meal for the 3 of us, and that's all I ask for. Really. Thank you Mum and
Dad.
A few more hours to my birthday and I will be a year older.
A year has passed, and there are many more ahead.
I don't know what to expect in the future, I don't know how many more times
do I have to burn myself to know that fire is dangerous, and I don't know
how many more times do I have to disappoint before I impress... but I will
work hard, I will.
Thank you everyone for being there with me throughout the entire year. Thank
you to all my friends, thanks for all the fun, thanks for all the laughters,
and thanks for all the tears. I will never forget any single moment we've
spent together.
It has not been a easy year for me. There were many ups and downs, but I hope
my experiences have made me a better and stronger person. Thank you 2005.

Wow, finally a new layout. =)
Thanks to Ouxiang for the beautiful font and Javier for the inspiration. ^^
Okay it has been long since I changed my layout, hence I decided it's probably
time for a big change. A new try on the red hue, and I changed the tagbox,
which was really super laggy. =S
Hence, WG's 16th layout is back with more power, more content and more ME!
This post will be solely dedicated to PSF Spirits! Hahaha...
We had several meet-ups these few days, and we had so much of fun I can't
tell you how much I've laughed... Lol... Preparation for PSLTC could be tiring
and tedious, but all the time we spent bonding and having fun paid it off.
Went on to Ouxiang's house yesterday and did the selection for songs, had

And we met up again today at 9 in school to do decorating jobs for the LT...
Honestly speaking you can never get people who are greater than those in our
team. Considering the fact that there is me, the com is already so... hmm...
heehee...
Agung was reading for quotes in Readers' Digest.
Jason was cutting the double sided tapes.
Javier was running around offing my microphone and pasting CRAP paper on the
wall.
Jing Han was basically doing the cutting and pasting.
Nigel was busy singing. Lol... But he sings well, just like me. =)
Ouxiang was the DJ man and drawing all the poster stuff...
Roderick was busy calling people to tell them he lost his phone.
We are such a wonderful team right? OMG lah! PLEASE! Spirits is like OMG?!!!!?!!
