So let's talk abt SG idol..
1) Daphne's "I believe" was sang wif so much of joy.. I loved it... Javier surely damn happi coz she sang a Tata Young song.. hahahax..
2) Olinda's performance of "Qian Yan Wan Yu" sounded abit.. mmm.. weird.. lol... my mother's fav singer, Deng Li Jun's song.. hahax.. i wonder how Douglas felt.. :S Oh i forgot! Its okay.. coz his comments haf always been useless.. ^^
3) Okay for all the David Tao fans i bet all of ya haf heard the song Sly sang, "Katrina".. Yes, from his Black Tangerine album.. I oso haf.. hehex.. yeah its the onli eng song in the album.. I quite liked it and felt that Sly delievered it quite well..
4) OMG man although i didnt understand was Taufik was singing but it was like so touching... Very emotive performance, Taufik is on the way!
5) Walao Daphne's CHINESE realli quite hopeless... "Chong Huai" she sing "Cong Huai"... Lol.. Oh btw "Ni Yao De Ai" has always been one of my all time fave, so i thot Daphne sang that song quite poorly... TOO WHINY N SWEET N BABY LIAO! Lol..
6) I didn't noe Coco Lee sang such a wonderful song b4... Well, Olinda's performance was very good n moving...

1) Christopher's performance SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Really, damn lousy, key is super low, lousy singing.
2) I'm starting to get really impressed by Olinda... She always picks the good songs and her vocals are always so excellent... Other than Sly i tink she's the only one who got hope... But dun tink she would win coz i dun tink singaporeans would want someone too fat to represent SG in World Idol.. that's her biggest problem............... well...
3) Okay i loved Taufik's performance... His last move was so cool... Really i always liked his moves, so smooth n so cool..

Okay 1st i would like 2 blog abt "The Grudge"... The new hollywood movie based on "Ju-on"...
I watched both "Ju-on(s)"... yes, 1 and 2... the Japanese ones.. Didnt quite like the 2nd one coz it's very badly organized... It goes by "XXX" then how he died.. then "XXXX", then how he died and goes on... It's like watching a lame documentary seeing how ppl die.. "The Grudge" is based on the 1st one, which has a MUCH better story... Just in case u didn't noe, "The Grudge" is the curse of one who dies in the grip of a powerful rage. Those who encounter this murderous supernatural curse die and a new one is born, passed from victim to victim in an endless, growing chain of horror. So it means u die, then he die, then they die. Yes. Curse.
As compared to the real "Ju-on", i tink Takashi Shimizu did a much greater job in "The Grudge"... The scary elements r much betterly (is there such a word? lol) shown... Maybe it's because he had learnt his lessons from "Ju-on"... Very well done movie... A recommendation for a good halloween treat.

Oh btw that's wat happened YESTERDAY. ^^
Today went 2 watch "Ladder 49" wif Yuhao, Kev n xiao di... We had lunch in Long John b4 the 14:15 show.... Mmm my I-weekly says that "Ladder 49" haf the largest REAL disaster (fire) scene ever in hollywood.. From the producers of "Spiderman 2", i did expect alot... But the movie turned out abit disappointing. Honestly.
Trapped in a fire that looks likely to kill him, a fireman (Joaquin Phoenix) takes the opportunity to look back over his life, career and marriage, while he waits for his company, Ladder 49, to rescue him, if they can......................................... Well, movie is basically talking abt the life of this guy called Jack, a brave n courageous firefighter who risked his life for others... Very touching story... loved the last part when his wife cried over his death, the emotions r all there.. Very moving...
BUT, wat was missing was the good n pleasant ending everyone hoped to c... Mmm, sorry 4 being a spoiler but Jack didn't make it... I expected a miracle or something but none of that happened... N @ the very last part of the movie maybe they should say something like "Dedicated to all the brave Firefighters of our nation..."... at least it makes the movie more meaningful... Not sure if it's a true story or wat, but, ultimately a "not-bad" show lah... hahax...
Oh yah the main lead, Joaquin Phoenix, seem SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAMILIAR when he popped up on the big screen... was thinking abt where did i c this guy.. mmm i just remembered. "The Village".. Yeah, he was part of the film "The Village"... Hahax... well, that's beside the point....

If scientific or technical terms are allowed wholesale, then there is a potential for words of indescribable length, particularly in regard to the naming of organic and biological compounds such as proteins, such as Methionylglutaminy...serine and Acetylseryltyrosylserylisol...serine.

"Official" longest word
The Guinness Book of Records in 1992 (and subsequent editions) declares the "longest real word" in the English language to be floccinaucinihilipilification at 29 letters. Defined as the act of estimating as worthless, its usage has been recorded as far back as 1741. In recent times its usage has been recorded in the proceedings of the US Senate (Senator Jesse Helms used the word in 1999 during the debate on the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty [Randolph V. Cinco]) and at the White House (by Press Secretary Mike McCurry in his December 6, 1995, White House Press Briefing).

Popular usage
Antidisestablishmentarianism (a movement opposed to the separation of church and state) at 28 letters is often popularly accepted as English's longest word, and is probably the best-known "longest word."

A coined term
The word pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, also spelled pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis, is defined as "a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica or quartz dust." At 45 letters, it is certainly the longest word ever to appear in a non-technical dictionary of English (Source: OED). However there are strong indications that the word was coined by puzzler Everett Smith in 1935 as a hypothetical long word that could result from the protraction of medical terms. The actual name of the disease is pneumoconiosis.

Other long words
Everett Smith's prediction seems to have been proven true by the 207,000+ letter word cited by the Guinness Book of Records which allegedly represents the name for human mitochondrial DNA.

The Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, or reef triggerfish, is Hawaii's unofficial state fish. At 21 letters it is one of the best known very long one-word names for an animal. It is often asserted that "the name is longer than the fish," although this certainly depends on the font size used.

The longest word which appears in William Shakespeare's works is the 27-letter honorificabilitudinitatibus, appearing in Love's Labour's Lost. This is arguably an English word, but only because he used it.

James Joyce, well known for his distinctive style, made up nine 100 and one 101 letter long words in his innovative novel Finnegans Wake, the most famous of which is Bababadalgharaghtakamminarronnkonnbronntonnerronntuonnthunntrovarrhounawns-kawntoohoohoordenenthurnuk. Appearing on the first page, it allegedly is the symbolic thunderclap representing the fall of Adam and Eve. As this word appears nowhere else except in reference to this passage, it is not generally accepted as a "real" word.

The well-known song title from the movie Mary Poppins, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, with 34 letters, does appear in several dictionaries, but only as a proper noun, and defined in reference to the song title. Hence it may well be dismissed as not a "real" word.

The character Big Bird of Sesame Street sings the Latin alphabet, thinking it is a word. He reads Abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz aloud as "(ab-cud-ef-g)(jek'l-m''''n p'''-kw r)('''st v'''-wik-ziz)" and breaks into song.

At 75 letters long, Twoallbeefpattiesspecialsaucelettucecheesepicklesonionsonasesameseedbun was used in a McDonald's Restaurant advertisement.

Constructions
It should be noted that English is a language which permits the legitimate extension of existing words to serve new purposes by the addition of prefixes and suffixes. This is sometimes referred to as agglutinative construction. As an example, one of the longest words used in the Wikipedia is contraneoantidisestablishmentarianalistically at 45 letters (although there are reasons to believe this was somewhat contrived). The length of this word is enhanced by the use of "contra" and especially the suffix "-alistically" which can frequently be added to words ending in "-tion" (eg. nationalistically, traditionalistically, floccinaucinihilipilificationalistically).

The word nonetheless is an interesting study in just how complex a word can legitimately be assembled. This word can be analysed as follows:
establish - to set up, put in place, or institute (originally from the Latin stare, to stand)
establish-ment - something established, in particular a church instituted by law, such as the Church of England.
dis-establishment - the separation of church and state (specifically in this context it is the political movement of the 1860s in Britain)
disestablishment-arian - a person in support of the movement designed to bring about the above (hereafter called the 'first' movement).
anti-disestablishmentarian - a person belonging to the movement opposed to the first movement.
neo-antidisestablishmentarian - a person belonging to the new version of the movement opposed to the first movement. (Appropriate because in this context the original antidisestablishment movement had become defunct).
contra-neoantidisestablishmentarian - a person belonging to the movement opposed to the new version of the movement opposed to the first movement.
contraneoantidisestablishmentarian-alistically - behaving in the manner of a person belonging to the movement opposed to the new version of the movement opposed to the first movement.

It could be further extended as follows:

Technical terms
A number of scientific naming schemes can be used to generate arbitrarily long words.

The systematic convention for naming chemical elements of large atomic number is open-ended, for example unbitriquadpenthexseptoctennillium is the name of a hypothetical element with atomic number 1234567890.

John Horton Conway and Landon Curt Noll developed an open-ended system for naming powers of 10, in which one sexmilliaquingentsexagintillion is the name for 1019683.

Place names
There is some debate as to whether or not a place name is a legitimate word. Without entering that debate, let it be noted that the longest officially recognized place name in an English-speaking country is

Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu (85 letters) which is a hill in New Zealand.

The longest place name in the United States (45 letters) is Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. The longest hyphenated name in the U.S. is Winchester-on-the-Severn, a town in Maryland.

It is questionable whether any of the above are properly considered English words, being derived from Maori, Native American, and Welsh words respectively.

The 58 letter name Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is the famous name of a town in Wales in the United Kingdom. Critics, however, have alleged that the name (which was adopted in the mid 19th century) was contrived solely to be "the longest name of a town in Britain". The longest station name in the UK, at 68 letters, is '''Gorsafawddacha'idraigodanheddogleddoll npenrhynareurdraethceredigion''' which was contrived to beat the Welsh Town.

Just now i just watched a quite old show.. "Laws of Attraction"... Well..
This is the story of two New York divorce lawyers (Pierce Brosnan, Julianne Moore) who are often competing against each other, but end up in a relationship nonetheless. When they get married, they tried 2 avoid the same issues at home that lead people to provide them business at work. One of the central cases in the story is the heavily-publicized divorce of a rock star (Sheen) from his wife (Posey).
They were enemies. But becoz of Love, they got married. Married, but still opposing lawyers trying 2 defend their own clients.. Okay well i watched "Yesterday Once More" wif Vanez as mentioned in my previous post and omg, it's such a wonderful movie.. very very very well done..
Socialite and successful businesswoman Mrs. Thief (Sammi Cheng.. really, its THIEF *dao*... lol!) can hardly turn down business tycoon Steve’s marriage proposal when he offers her his family treasure. On the eve of their wedding, two mysterious gangs appear and steal her prize win. The marriage is off and suspicion grows. Mrs. Thief suspects that her ex-husband, millionaire Mr. Thief (Andy Lau), is the man behind this heist. Having parted ways for some years, the couple’s paths cross again and Mrs. Thief is certain that her ex-husband steals the treasure in order to sabotage her marriage and get her attention.. Story goes on in which Mr and Mrs. Dao goes on 2 steal.. The way they still is really arh, super.. n they r like so clever.. they would never be caught.. at last story ends in such a way that Sammi Cheng instead of loving all the $$$, she finally knew wat she really wanted.. Her husband, Andy Lau.. So she threw away the jewels she got and drove to Andy Lau's place, not realising that he's already dead. Thanks to some blood cancer... Woke up in the morning, made some pasta, sat in front of the computer and watched a show which i regretted watching when i was eating. "Immortel".
Mmm i searched everywhere for pix of this movie. I got so much of results, but none that i wanted. Coz it's all pix of other movies which has "Immortel" in their name..
I wonder: Did i spell it wrongly? Is it ImmorTEL or TAL? mmm finally, i found one.

Okay basically the movie is SUPPOSED to be out in march this year.. But didnt c any advertisement or posters around... Yahoo oso dun haf... Mmm.. am i de onli one who haf watched it? Lol...
The movie sucked. In the sense that u dunno if u r watching a cartoon or a movie.
Yes, u r right.. Too much CG.. n the CGs r very extreme, some r so good (can be compared to Day After Tomorrow) and some are so trashy (I-Robot)... The 2pid director actually used CG for HUMANS.. he cant even be bothered to find actors for HUMANS.. can u believe it? Lol.. so disappointing..
Story was confusing n draggy... well..... lousy movie........................................

Movie is quite gross.. Uma Thurman blucked out this shit woman's eyeball and stepped on it.. =="ll then can see the blood and the liquid... sick..
N i realised something abt Quentin Tarantino's movies.. He is OBESSED wif chinese kongfu stuff, which is seldomly seen in Hollywood movies... And his movie music is like so 60s-hong-kong-movie lor! Lol... well... maybe its his style...

15 years of life. I've never watched a movie which made me laugh so much, and at the same time scare the sai out of me.
Have u watched "Dawn of the Dead?" Yes u did if u were 16, but anywayz u can get the DVD... Mmm then how abt "Shaun of the dead"? Never heard of it? Not out yet? Well... this is one big movie...

After training today i went home alone.. On the way i was thinking: Who r going to be my classmates? Who would be my form tutor? Wat class would i end up in?
I'm excited n nervous... I didnt do THAT badly, but i'm worried. I bet all of u r too... But then i realise, wat is important is that u've tried ur best and improved. That's was is important, isn't it?

Holidays 4 mi is a period of reflection and art. I'm going overseas, Australia or Thailand.. Then going to China to really REST. Sitting in front of the window in layers of clothings and watching the snow, that's the holiday i want... I'm always inspired by snow and leaves... Yepx.. so mm i may draw quite abit in China n bring back pieces 4 u 2 c... But during this period of time i would NOT be bloggin and my HP would be offed... do not wan 2 be disturbed by anyone, all i wan is some warm n relaxed time wif my family... having steamboat together, playing wif snow, singing all the Christmas songs together... I cherish and look forward to these things. Becoz i onli do them ONCE, a year.

Y dun u? Becoz u r not God. Who noes if u may just die when u get banged by a car tomorrow morning? You dont. So u dunno wat would happen. That's y, u live life to the fullest.

Haf u thot of that? Wat is ur defination of LIFE? To earn alot of money? To marry a beautiful lady as ur wife? To get into a good university so that u can find a good job? To change the world? Or just simply to be a happy person...?

Mmm went to Lido to watch Wimbledon wif Javier... Bought tickets 1st then walked around in Borders, listened to some music, looked at some books... N i found out Guiness World Record 2005 is a great book to be purchased... Then went back to Lido to eat.. I ate Long John Silvers, Javier bought a drink and a cheese fries... Mmm we met Mark and someother guy whom i'm not sure of wat his name is..... they were sitting RIGHT behind us TALKING, TALKING and TALKING.. irritating.. haix... it was cold.. mi n J had to share a sweater.. hahax....

Movie is abt Peter Colt (Bettany), an unlucky guy, scoring "love" both professionally and personally. Seeded near the bottom of the world tennis ranks (119th), he manages to score a wild card, allowing him to play in the Wimbledon tournament. There, he met and fell in love with American tennis star Lizzie Bradbury (SPIDERWOMAN Kirsten Dunst). Fueled by a mixture of his newfound luck, love and on-court prowess, Peter works his way up the ranks of the tournament players and actually stands a chance of fulfilling his lifelong dream of winning the men's singles title.... While both of them r in the competition, Kirsten got out 1st coz she couldnt concentrate as her whole mind was Peter.... Whereas Peter manage to win the title at last.. Movie has a very simple story... Not exactly touching, so not TOO impressive.. watching the movie is as though i'm watching a Tennis show.. lol.. spend $6.50 watching tennis, when i can just watch it on Supersports @home... oh well.. hahax...

Add on: Haha just watched a... mm, should i say Porn movie? Lol... okay, Porn as in the story of the movie resolves around pornstars..... "Girl Next Door" (2004)..
Okay honestly speaking i cant remember if this show has been released in SG, n i am not sure of the rating... If it releases the one which I've just seen, it would DEFINITELY be R21. If they cut, maybe NC-16... Coz this show is alot of PORN. lol.... but PORN is onli part of the story, not like some R(A) movie, in which it is just sex, sex and sex. Movie talks abt how SCREWED UP this guy is and this Pornstar, who is the gal next door, walked in and changed his life. They did the craziest things ever LIKE shooting a porn film, which in the end, u would realise is actually a Sex Education video. Good story and very "exciting" to see... lolx.. not farnie, the show has minimum humour.. but, good movie ultimately...

It's Monday but surprisingly there were so many ppl.. we haf H11 and 12.. Corner sits... :S Becoz i was sick, i covered myself wif my sweater like as though i am hibernating... wahhahax.. vanez did the same and ppl were looking at us like as though they were thinking "wat da hell r these 2 mad animals doing here".. There were so many ppl that the whole cinema was so noisy.... Movie started at abt 13:50.... Start liao STILL got some bian tai ppl talking... got 2 idiots actually bought oranges and brought them in.... =="llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Movie is abt this curse of the Ouija Board in a Korean skool. By chanting an evil spell of death, "Bunshinsaba," and scribbling on the Ouija board with a pen, this gal called Yujin is able to curse her enemies and cause the spellbound to die one after another. Meanwhile, 1 art teacher called Eunju also transferred school, and is endowed with a special ability to see the ghost of Insuk, a dead female student. Eunju moreover finds that the death of Insuk is by no means irrelevant to her own life.
In this movie, the cursed number is 29.
Mmm honestly speaking, not VERY VERY scary..... coz got some BIAN TAI ppl keep shouting WALAO whenever the ghost comes out... =="ll

Add on: Mmm i just watched a old movie... "Wrong Turn" (2003)... Mmm frankly speaking, it's a movie of a tired genre. Ppl go into a forest, met some monsters and begun their escape. BUT, this one is different. It's not just monsters. It's mutated creatures which are scientifically proven. It's not just a escape, it's a fight for life. Story starts when these 6 ppl got their car crashed and they needed help. And in search of help, they realised that there r these scary creatures around, who eats human meat. They actually store than in the fridge.. =="ll It's gross.. they show how the arrow goes into the person's eyes, how the hammer slices through the woman's mouth... Alot of gore, very disgusting. But to the right level, so it's fine. Ultimately onli 2 escaped... Mmm i really recommend this 90 min movie... Not bad.. my hands r sweating and my heart beated real fast.. hahax....

During many moments in the camp, i felt like crying.

Friday.
I met my group members... there were familiar faces and unfamilar ones.... One of them is Samuel, honestly speaking i didn't even noe his existence in SJI. There were oso Wayne, Edmund, Gerald and Keenan, whom i already noe... Guys like Shan, Chris, Yong Sheng, Samuel were still quite unfamilar...
First impression: we r screwed... dun tell mi its de same boring group.. :S
But, I was so wrong.
We got 2 noe each other through games... My PSFs are Daniel (DITTO!!!) and Benjamin (Algae =="ll)...... First impression on Benjamin: Sense of Humor was like ice. So farnie until make ppl freeze. Ditto: very quiet... silent leader that type.
Well, i'm half correct... After interacting wif Ben, i realised he's a very nice guy.... very very FARNIE... very poor memory, one name take years to remember... mixed up ALL of our names and couldn't even remember the RIGHT names.. =="ll
Daniel remained quiet throughout the camp... hahax...
We played games, had alot of fun together... Mi, Wayne, Edmund n Shan haf been bullying Lucas... then Shan c Lucas will say Chio Bu.... LOLX... then we were like saying she will float around to haunt ppl at night so Group 7 must be careful... wahhax so mean.. when it was time to sing, it was really a moment of unity.. And guess wat i find Lucas molesting the ppl next to him.. OMG MAN!!! Okay u c we r all putting our hands around each other's shoulders then he go n touch ppl's ass... OMG! Haha damn farnie..... We slept @ 1. Painful experience, lol.. the floor was H-A-R-D.

Saturday.
Mmm we played even more games... Waterbaloons, dragon's tail, poison ball, skipping... So many... hahax.. Mmm, my group is Veli (Brotherhood in Finnish). Honestly, i'm so proud of my group.. We were the most united group, we cheered for the other group after EVERYGAME no matter wat the result was.... It was fun. We sweated, we laughed and we became more than just frenz. We become Brothers. I truly believe that..... Mmm we had to hold hands together to go to whereever we were going coz we didn't stick to the team at times... Tankz to Ben's great RULES, we had to do this... Many tink it's farnie and humiliating, but we took it like a game. We were united, so wat? ^^
We had many talks and learnt alot of LEADERSHIP skills...
During the evening we had to perform a skit for everyone... Mr. Shan Xtra VOLUNTEERED to be the 1st. =="lllllllllll lolx... we set the standards, we were the 1st... Our skit was something of a CS + Warcraft + Servant Leader... DAMN LAME RITE? lol.. then i must put a PE pants over my head and PRETEND it's a helmet? =="lll lolx, stupid, but the ppl liked it... From the bottom of my heart, i tink ours were the best.. In terms of bringing out the true meaning of servant leadership.. there were groups which had such farnie actions (like giving birth and having big boobs wif silicon) that they were simply comedy. The ex-PSFs perfomance were omg, really DAMN FARNIE.. luff until can vomit rice.... I oso wrote affirmation notes 4 alot of ppl b4 i slept.... Dunno y Rod didn't get his....
I oso realised 1 more thing on this day.. I realised alot of ppl noe my name but i dun actually noe them... Lol... Everytime walking around there will be ppl calling mi then turn around i c someone whom i dun really noe well... hahax... got 1 person asked mi abt my blog and i was like: "how did u noe i haf a blog?" lol... mmm sorry guys but i hope to noe u guys more in the future.....
Late at night, Reflections. There were candles lighted up in the LT.. a chair for anyone to share wateva he wants to say... I took the courage to go down. I thanked Ben and Ditto and shared abt my views of a PSL... Haha i got abit nervous n immediately after i've finished i ran back.. without knowing that Ben actually whistled at me and wanted to hug me... lol.. Didn't c Shen Yang's "offer" too.. haha... so sad... But Ignatius and Ditto came over and gave mi a huge hug.. alot others too... so sweet.. hehex.. very touching... Thank you all guys.

Sunday.
The final day. We played TRUST games, bonded even more and we were more and more united as a team. The moment which i would never forget in my entire life is during the Closing Ceremony. I almost cried, when Ben put the PSL shirt over me and Ditto hugged mi... Mmm it was a very touching scene, tinking abt the fact that we would be leaving each other soon, haix... so sad...
I received alot of affirmation notes.. abt 11 of them... but 2 got confidential stuff, so didnt scan.. hehhehehehhex.... scanned in a few that i've received.. quite alot.. so take ur time to read... Lol actually got 1 person got 0 then he came to me n ask mi 2 write one for him on the spot.. Well.. Thankz to all who wrote and supported mi. Thank you so very much.

So ultimately i tink PSLTC 2004 has really been a mesmerizing experience for me... This is probably one of the bestest choice i've ever made in my life. Being a PSL is never a wrong option, not for me, not for anyone....

I oso learnt another... This is for all who hates someone and wants to take revenge. Don't. Coz the idiot will always dig his whole grave. Remember.
